Wegmans
OMG! Wegam's is a grocery shopping heaven. My husband worked there for a while in the produce dept. It is an amazing place. The website has cooking instructions and recipees too. They even have videos of the cooking instructions that make it easy for a non cooker like me to do it. They have everything you can want and stuff you didn't even know existed. IF they don't have it they will get it for you. The prices are outrageous for some things but, it is high quality stuff. Ours even sells beer and wine now. In Downingtown PA. I am half an hour away or I would go there all the time.
Also have to put in a plug for www.wegmans.com because I think they are the ONLY supermarket chain that literally has nutrition information for every product that they sell posted on their website and easily accessible by search. Seriously. All the brand names, generics, and store brand. Fresh and prepared as well as canned. Impresses the heck out of me and I use it all the time for food logging research when I have to look up something that isn't already in the database.
I LOVE my Wegmans. And I swear my grocery bill is lower there for the vast majority of things, most especially produce (which is to die for quality-wise!) and meats and seafoods (my FAVE seafood supplier).

Wegmans is amazing and addictive!! And if you have kids under 8 they will love it too!! You drop them off for up to 1.5 hours while you shop and they stay busy!! If you cannot find it someone else you will find it there. The fresh foods are vast and in perfect condition!! Everyone is nice! We used to go every Friday before full day school took over!

I, too, love Wegman's. You can get coffee when you walk in the door and they even have cup holders to attach to your cart so you can put your coffee, your shopping list and even a pen in there. LOL!!
Kids club was great while Siehara was young enough to enjoy. Now, she hangs out in the book section reading once she is done getting the things on "her" list.
The variety there is to die for... pretty much anything you want can be found there. Organics, cheeses, olive bars, kosher food, all types of ethnic foods, deli meat, fresh cooked meals, sushi, salad bar, etc, etc, etc,
If you go on their website, you can even put in the store you are going to use and enter in your shopping list and it will print it out for you by what aisle the stuff is in.
I am lucky that I have 2 Wegman's to choose from, depending on where I am when I need to hit the store. Actually, there are 3, but the 2 are close to other places I go on a regular basis.
Have fun and definitely wear those walking shoes!! Give yourself enough time just to browse.. it's so much fun!

Prices can be a bit high. Very good produce section with a LOT of organic stuff if you're into that. Better deli area than a lot of places. They usually have a great olive bar type of thing and a great international cheese area. Bakery ahs a lot of fresh whole grain items. The international section and "health" food sections are pretty good, too. As I said, prices can be on the high side but you're paying for the selection. Some good store brands as well.
