Wednesday Exercise

OK, here I am again starting the exercise thread! Last night I did go to Curves on the way home and had a great work-out.

Tonight its back on the recumbant bike and am going for another 11 miles!! Figure if I did it the other night I can surely pull it off again tonight. I'll do that a few times before incorporating hand weights back into that routine.

What's everyone else doing to move and groove today???

Morning!

I'm headed to the gym in a few minutes to do 30 minutes on the treadmill and then strength training with Rocco.  I decided not to cancel my appointment.  I need to have some form of normalcy.  I can't meet with him at 5 as usual, but there's no reason I can't get over there.

Glad you're going to the gym - I know this is a very difficult time for you right now but working out will take your mind off things for a little while and you'll feel better mentally and physically for having it done.

Had a fun workout this morning and am feeling all warm and energized!   

Did 10 minutes on the rowing machine, followed by a rockin' good 20 minutes on the elliptical "variable hill" program - whew!  Then moved over to the free weights and worked upper body (particularly arms).  I feel "well rounded" today and ready for a day of retail therapy :-).

Hi Kathy,
I did my hour on the Elliptical this morning and will be running errands on my lunch and breaks but I am feeling a little down so will try to take it easy IF I can for the rest of the day.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Today was leg day for me at the gym
 Sqats, leg extentions, leg press, stiff leg dead lift.

I started with 10 min on the eliptical followed by ab work and stretching

Tomorrow is karate class
