Tuesday roll call

Today is dad's funeral.
I have to stop at the bagel place before we meet at the synagogue to pick up the 4 doz bagels I ordered for the luncheon we are having afterwards at the synagogue.
My sister didn't come in last night as expected. She is coming in on time for the funeral pick up. This is fine, except that I just hope that she remembers to bring the desserts and the sodas.
We have someone from the synagogue setting up for us, so we don't need to worry about it.
So, I'm off to get dressed and get ready to go.
OH and by the way... Shiva is being observed at my apartment tonight, tomorrow and Thursday at 7:00pm. Ask Steffi what it is... :)

Liz hope you feel better. Lisa hang in there. Today finds me going to meet the lawyer for the first time to get my power of atturney, and medical power of atturney, and will drawn up in anticipation of my surgery in November. Also to enlist her help in continuing my fight, and second appeal for unemployment comp. Have a good,safe day all.

Good morning all - at work today feeling pretty good - wearing a new outfit I bought at the Rehobeth outlets the other week - a pair of Levi's slacks that I got for $7.00!! Now I wish they had had more colors because these fit wonderfully - it is so great being able to shop in stores again!
Brought a bunch of CDs in to work today to download onto my MP3 - boss and several others are out of the office traveling so its going to be very quiet in here - this will keep me occupied and away from snacking, which has become a huge problem for me at work due to boredom.
Tonight I'll be going to Curves on the way home - gym bag is ready and waiting under my desk.

Brought a bunch of CDs in to work today to download onto my MP3 - boss and several others are out of the office traveling so its going to be very quiet in here - this will keep me occupied and away from snacking, which has become a huge problem for me at work due to boredom.

Good morning Nicole and all of PA - My heart is with Lisa Hunt today as she lays her father to rest. If anyone has any questions about Shiva - please ask..... I will check in here several times today!
I am back to work after a very successful and meaningful fast. I did WAY better than I thought. I was a bit thirsty mid-afternoon and listened to my body and sipped some water. I wasn't even a little hungry until about 4ish - and then the hunger went away anyway - NO NAUSEA!!!!!!! It was a difficult day - becuase of what the holiday was meant to do - missed my mom like crazy! Always do!
Today I am at wor****il 3:15 - headed home to repack my food for the evening, then off to teach Hebrew school from 4:30-6 and Confirmation Academy (High Schoolers Hebrew School) from 6:30-8:30. At that point I always wish that my 14 year old could drive, so I didn't have to on the way home! :) And - as I always plan to - go home and go to bed - however, we know that a whole day away from facebook is always soooo difficult - so that will be before I go to sleep tonight!
