Realy concerned about the lifestyle you describe above, Jenna:
"Less than half a protein drink for breakfast, worked all morning, stopped to look at flooring...tried on running shoes, then had a McD's chicken wrap...."

I invite you to make some time to review how you can manage your schedule & nutrition requirements so they're mutually supportive.

There's no way a body can function for 4-5 hours on half a protein drink. Also, I wonder if you're also dehydrating yourself? Putting your metabolism into fasting mode while asking your body to be so active is a very efficient means to run down your immune system.

Protein drinks for post-ops beyond 2months should be rarely used. The mechanics of RNY & lap band both involve feeling FULL so we'll eat LESS; BUT, that fullness comes from eating solid sources of protein.

No need for concern- it was one day.  I Don't eat food that early- I can't or I get sick so I had to sacrafice to work in the class that day.  I do take care of myself and do what I should.  I would not have lost 68lbs otherwise.  Thanks for the concern though.  I Am sure we ALL have our days we don't do things the perfect way.  :)
