Good Morning All.  Lisa, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am going to a wedding today in Glassboro.  The ceremony is at 2:00, but the reception isn't until 5:00.  Not enough time to head home, but not sure what we'll do in between.

Tomorrow during the day is a day of recovering from the wedding, watching football, then in the early evening I'm headed to a grandma shower with my girlfriends.  Two of my friends children recently had first children.  We started this tradition of giving the grandma's a shower (really just an excuse to get together) when my daughter had my first.

104 lbs lost now Maintenance BABY!!!!

Good morning Trish and all of PA

My heart goes out to Lisa - this is the most difficult time - the in between stage, the waiting for the funeral and the shiva is the most difficult time...its like being in limbo.  The offical mourning period in the Jewish faith has not begun yet, yet is all to real and not sure what to do with yourself.  Oy - Lisa - I just wish I could be with you today to hug you!

Well, I was originally supposed to be scrapbooking all day today, but that did not happen, so hubby and I are going to finally finish, I hope, Emily's new room.  Larry has is painted - so cute with lavendar and pink - and today we are going to look for some new furniture for her.  Tonight we are headed out with friends for what I hope to be a funny, loud evening.  (See - its not just me being loud and obnoxious wehn I go out with friends!)

Everyone going to Liz's = I will miss you this month = have a great time - and don't get hurt cooking anything!  (Oh wait - that would be me!)

Good morning all,

Happy Saturday.  It's been a long week and I am happy to have a 3 day weekend.

I plan to do some shopping today.  It is supposed to be a beautiful day.

I still haven't done much to convert over to solid foods yet.  I have an appointment with my Net on Friday and really am taking it very slow until then.  I want to make sure I am doing everything right.

I had my first meal out the other day and ordered a shrimp ****tail and had 1 and 1/2 jumbo shrimp.  I started to dip it in the ****tail sauce and quickly and thankfully realized the ****tail sauce was probably loaded with sugar and switched over to mustard.  I am glad I thought of that quick enough.

I really felt out of control going to a restuarant, as I was losing sight of proteins, calories etc....  It just felt way too soon for me.  I still have a lot of learning to do first.

I hope everyone gets out and enjoys the day.

I am home today after 3 l`o`n`g days in Philly for meetings, so I admit it - I got  up early with hubby, then was lazy for a while...then took a nap! (Please don't tell anybody! I have a reputation to keep up!)

Now I'll have lunch and spend a little time spoiling myself with a pedicure. Errands follow - groceries, the shipping store, and picking up 2 or 3 gifts that will eventually be Christmas gifts. We have a big family so I constantly strive to (1) shop ahead, (2) contain costs, and (3) be reasonable in what we choose to give. It's quite a project. Our kids are literally from coast to coast, so I have to start very early in the game.

I might also look for a 2nd pair of slacks that fits. A quick trip to the grocery store. And...if I can...swing into the mall to get my ring cleaned.  (This is a success story. I haven't had my wedding ring cleaned for about 3 years because it wouldn't come off, and the last time was too embarrassing at the jeweler's. But yesterday, playing with it during some of those meetings -- it's not so tight any more! Hooray!)

Evening is a women's activity at church with a light dinner (soups I think). I fortunately don't have to make anything!
