Friday Excercise
Good Morning Everyone!
I did my hour on the Elliptical but will be talking the rest of the day off AND the weekend off. Oh my god! I can hardly walk today from my running yesterday. What was I thinking? What is everyone else doing to move today. Come on now MOVE that body so that you can indulge a little or forgive yourself a little for getting off the wagon...

Shilpa,
Doesn't the soreness feel GOOD, though? Shows that you're working different muscle groups differently and making positive changes in your body... at least that's what I try and tell myself in between going "OWWW". HAHA.
I cancelled my Strive acclimation appointment this morning. I could not get out of bed - too crampy and yucky. If I feel better, I'll go to the gym after work for a bit - otherwise, it's a day off for me.

Good Morning Shilpa,
I looked at yesterday to see what your run consisted of and your running two miles for the first run is a lot and impressive. No wonder you are sore. You did good. If you keep at it you'll see that it gets easier as you build endurance. The issue I have with running is it's killer on my knees so the eliptical is a good back up.
Today I'll go to the gym after work for some cardio and upper body weights. I've not been on my bike in 2 weeks, I need to ride this weekend. I miss it.
Have a good weekend everyone.

I will be riding my recumbant bike tonight for 10 miles - hopefully cutting my time a little bit each time, then working my way up to more miles.
This weekend I am hoping to get on my real bicycle and do some pedaling around the neighborhood, along with long walks with the dog. Hubby got an air compressor for his b'day so now he can inflate the tires on my bike.
