***Super Sunday Roll Call***
Good Morning Everyone,
I am up late, and heading to bed, so I thought I would start Roll Call before hitting the hay.
I am struggling right now with emotional eating and really failing miserably. I can't find my relaxation exercise recording, and am frustrated with that. I hope I find it soon.
I did a lot of cooking Saturday, as I made a casserole for a family whose father has ALS. I also made a crock pot of stuffed cabbage.
Sunday has me heading to church for worship. Then, I will be teaching Sunday School to the 4th and 5th grade kids. After church, I am heading to the hospital for a late afternoon time with the patients. I should be done around 7 p.m.
I hope everyone has a great day.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Hello all!
It's 1 am and I *Just* got home from the race track. Nine hours of being there was too much. Sawyer & Johnny are lucky me and the other kiddos love them so much. It got cold and we got grouchy. But......the day is over and they had fun racing.
Sunday has us going to the flea market in the morning, then home to do some various things around the house.
Watching the Eagles game and of course studying for my test thats on Monday night.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Trish, hope you find your recording and work through it.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Good morning Trish and everyone! Why can't the surgery take care of the emotional part too....wouldn't that be the BEST?!?! Sorry you are going through this Trish. Get on here whenever you feel like you are going to eat due to your emotions....that might help! :)
Well....I survived dinner at the in-laws - it was challenging to say the least - we were the only family there -then she had new friends and their families. That should tell you something. I kept telling Larry that he owed me - and he just kept smiling and drinking another glass of wine - show-off! :) We ended up coming home last night THANK GOD!!!!!! And now I am up early for no apparent reason!
Today has me doing the bills, going to the market, lesson planning for Hebrew School and watching the Eagles game - should also be able to get to the pool today. Still struggling on how to fit that into my schedule more regularly!
Have a great sunny day everyone! :)

Good Morning All
MY legs and back are sore today from pulling weeds yesterday. Good news is I got most of it done. Whatever is left shall be killed off by the frost in a few weeks lol. Today I am going to do my housework - cooking (making chili and chicken soup), laundry and relaxing.
Hope you all have a great day

Morning.. day 2 at synagogue is about to begin. Today will be busy on all accounts again. I will be at synagogue all morning.. am hoping to catch the sermon today, as we have a guest Rabbi coming in to give it. He is the leader of the Jewish Student Union at Lehigh University and is young and very interesting. I may miss it, though, because of a miscommunication I had with the babysitter I hired. She is at another synagogue.. oops.. SO, I will need to keep an eye on the kiddos during services. I did have a teenager volunteer to help out so if he shows and there are not a lot of little ones, I will be able to go over for the sermon. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
After services, even though I shouldn't, I need to take care of some Pampered Chef business. An order came in from the last party I did, and I added some orders to the party. So, I need to go pick those up. I also need to close out a catalog show that I did.
This evening, there is one more service for Rosh Hashanah. That one is called Tashlich (TAHSH-LEEh-the last h has that Jewish CH sound to it). This is where we symbolically cast off our sins (bread crumbs) into flowing water (we go to a creek near the synagogue). It is our way of starting over and getting ready for Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) next week. This is our confession booth. I really enjoy going to this service (as long as I have bug spray). Most people will then walk up to the synagogue. It's probably about a mile walk. So, I will park my car at the synagogue and we will walk down and then come back up with the group to finish with a pretty short indoor service to end the holiday.

Good morning Trish, and all
Sitting at my home in Florida dreading the packing and moving to come. I do not mind the move to Pennsylvania just the physical and emotional work to get my wife out of this house. She loves it and does not want to leave it. (She hates FL but loves the house).
I plan on starting to eat less today to get me on my journey. So protein first then the rest.

Morning Trish and Pa,
Trish, good luck on finding your way through the emotional eating. It can certainly take it's toll on a person, many of us have been there!
I should go out to the food store...and have absolutely no movtivation to do so. It's 46 degrees outside and all I want to do is stay in my sweats and stay curled up under a blanket, LOL
Anyway....once I do that (which I probably will regardless) I'll come home and just chill. Brian is going out for the day, I will stay here, and then I have work tonight for the next three nights.
Nothing to exciting!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Good Morning Trish & PA:
Today has me sipping my way through the day. Gene will be taking me over to Penny Pack Park for a walk today. I want to see some different scenery.
I've been doing pretty well so far. Day one home I got in 62.5 oz of fluids and yesterday I got in 87, wow how did I do that but the numbers added up correctly all 6 times I added them yesterday.
The pain is lessening. Gene and I took a walk to the Rite Aid yesterday to get some regular liquid children's tylenol for me to take during the day. I hate the narcotics during the day, can't stand that foggy feeling in my head.
After we get back from our walk I'll read another book, Gene will be working on a paper. I'm still waiting to see my grade from my final presentation last week, the grades are still not posted.....
Hope everyone has a awesome day, it's beautiful out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
