Help a Newbie Out
I swear by Spanx...did so before surgery and still do now to combat the lovely excess skin.
I have found them at departments stores (Lord and Taylor for one) and some lingerie shops...but they also have a website.
I use the "high power" ones for most occassions...which go from right under your boobs all the way down into pantyhose...covers EVERYTHING. But they have a whole lot of different styles. They can be a little pricey.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

For heavy-duty shaping, I like Spanx. BUT... i'm LOVING my "flexees" fat-free dressing slimming tank for everyday wear! They're basically a shaping camisole (found them at Costco) and can be worn by themselves or under a shirt. Amazingly comfy, wash really well, very durable. Here's a page from Macy's with a pic

Apparently they have a bunch of other styles as well, and given the performance of the ones I have, I'll be trying them.

I buy Dr. Rey's at Sears and love them. They usually have some deals on them. I didn't care for Spanx, and last year at an OH conference a woman who works for What Not To Wear got up & said they use Dr. Rey's on that show and that's what she used. They also sell them on HSN but I've never bought them from them.
