I'm sending lots of good thoughts and energy your way. Emphysema is such a horrible disease in itself - I watched my grandfather fight it for way too many years. I can't imagine having to fight the flu with it, too. I know you always speak of him with such love and care, and that will carry through to strengthen him in this fight. Hang in there, don't turn to food, and keep caring for yourself as you also care for him.

Prayers coming your way. My mom also suffers from emphyzema and I understand the seriousness of this disease. Keep on thinking positive thoughts. God is good. Always.
