I have not been on here all week.  I started my new job, which at this point I am actually loving, but it was a very long week to get to this point.  I had lots of stress and "unknowns"  all week.  My schedule was totally out of control  so my eating got really out of whack and I really started feeling ill.   I was just plain exhausted  by the time I got home every night.  I think it was mostly due to stress  from so many  changes.   I want to say thank you all of you because although i just didn't have the time or energy to come on here I kept thinking about what you all would have said if I had asked for support.  All the motivation  and advice I have read from all of you is what got me through this week and got me back on track.  I just kept remebering the things you all would be saying and I was able to pull myself together and cope with all of the changes and start a new eating schedule.  I am now feeling much better and have a new positive attitude to go back on Monday and start my second week.  So thank you all for being on here and sharing yourselves and your knowledge and yor hearts!  Everything you you do makes an impact on someone whether you realize it or not.  You are all amazing people and I feel lucky to count you among my friends!

Chele,

You've done an amazingly positive thing - internalized the "support voice"!  That's great!  This way, you can take the positive support with you wherever you are, even when you're not actually "connected"... and you begin to internalize the messages as well.

So you got through a rough, stressful week and survived it.  Each subsequent week will be easier and pretty soon you'll have a new routine in place and working for you.  The key is to figure out the schedule that will work for you and ways to adapt your nutritional and exercise needs into that schedule... and planning your eating instead of eating from stress and emotion.

Great job!

Chele,

I don't know you real well but you sound like you've done some amazing progress this week.  Changing jobs is incredibly difficult and stressful - and after only a week of being there and already settling in - that's saying something!

Hang in there!

Pam
