Okay I Will try to post a few facts from my visit to the Nut.

Blood Pressure 120/70---Great! Always has been.
Weight 324.5 lbs----Highest was only 330 lbs
Must loose --- 30lbs for them to do surgery
Height 5' 11.5" ---What the heck. I was 6' 1" in the military. Gravity sucks.

She fast tracked me a little with two appointments on Oct 19th.
Appointment with Karen Bird which I think is my Behavior Class #1
Then the same day Behavior Class #2

Since I have already been to classes like this the first time around she took a little pity on me and jumped me one month ahead. The bad news is that I now have one month less to loose 30lbs.

Carefully what you ask for you may just get it!

Sounds like everyhing is progressing great!!

My suggestion - start living like a post op - protein first then fruits and veggies - small amount of carbs last. This will help you to loose the weight. Also 64+++ ounces of non carbonated, decafinated beverages a day.

You CAN do it!

Liz's advice is correct.  I started eating like a post op and lost 56 pounds before surgery.  My surgeon was thrilled.  Now the weight is coming off at a steady pace and I'm loving it.

I'm so sorry I didn't take this advice pre op! You can lose 30 lbs no problem. Men lose weight faster than women (GRRRRRR!). Drink protein shakes in place of two meals, lots of water. In other words, eat like a post op!!!! Good luck

The advice and support on the PA board is key.

Good Luck, I know you can do it!!!!
