bra shopping after wls
I use to feel the same way about underwire bras but they really work wonders to lift and support. You probably need something like Playtex for full figured women and they are reasonably priced at Walmart and Target usually between $13 or $15 on sale. I hope that helps they also have some full figured bras without the underwires. I now swear by underwire bras the old me would not have touched it with a 10 foot pole. Hope that helps:)
well do you know your current size now? If you are a 40 band size or smaller go to Vicotria Secret to get sized... if you aren't 40 or smaller then messure yourself band wise... sorry places like Boscovs and such do a crappy job measuring...
Just get a cloth measuring tape and put it where your bra band goes and measure... the math they do for figuring a cup size is crap... so start one cup size smaller than what you were and just try them on... because depending on material and cup shape will make a HUGE difference in how it fits... but as you go down in band sizes the cup sizes also get smaller...
I did bra fitting for a year + at Lane Bryant... and this was the best way to find the right fit...
for the best support look for a bra that has 3 hooks in the back... and there is some great non wire support bras... bali makes a nice line... I think Kohls carry them... but Kohls carries the biggest selection of bras... if you aren't far from Reading the next best place is the VF outlet...
I haven't gone out for a formal fitting but a friend of mine told me that Lord & Taylor have an excellent fitting department for bras, especially if you're large busted and they will recommend good bras - they're not cheap, but probably worth it.
Good luck - happy shopping!!
Good luck
