Joined the YMCA over the weekend so that I could do my daily exercises while my 3 year old is entertained. (have been finding it difficult to get in 'real' exercise while he is around.). So today i will be heading out to the Y and doing some exercise.
Have neglected getting signed up for the next semesters classes so need to do that today and study for finals. Have two finals this week that I need to study study study for.

Good Morning Liz,
Been a while since I posted here, busy, busy and busy is my life. All good and a lot of it a by-product of having this surgery, for instance, I was in Dallas this past weekend, where I met up with a bunch of gals from the Over Fifty Forum of OH, some of them I had met previously, but most of them I had only spoken through via this site, but over the last two plus years, we got to know each other and the best part of it was, making connections, sharing the time with them and the common bonds that brought us to this place of health and enjoying life as we had never dreamed possible. Also was nice to find that people were genuinely who they appeared to be on-line. . .
Anyway, back to reality, after the workers who are coming to install insulation into the walls of my "old" home, as back in the 50s, homes were not built with insulation and mine definitely needs to be upgraded, I will be off to work to face, what I am sure is going to be a very busy day, then I will be home to hang with Dillinger who was very happy to see me last night.
I've missed you all, hope that I have an opportunity to catch up with what all has been going on in your lives soon and in the meantime, my prayers go out to those in need and I am sending positive thoughts for all, hope Ida has an easy transition to the Losers Bench today and that Little Hailey is improving. . .
Hugs, Laureen

Hey Liz!
Today I am with the kiddos from 8:45 - 3:45. Then I have to go over to Honda because they didn't reset my oil thingie when they changed my oil and because I am going to be over in Newark I am going to run the reservoir. It is a gorgeous place to run.

Good morning everyone,
Happy Monday.
Well, I am hoping that today will be a better day for me. I have had 2 and 1/2 days since surgery which was 13 days ago where I felt like I had some energy. Last Friday was the last. I have been really dragging. Not even enough energy to go to a local store. I have been feeling very zapped. I thought perhaps I was dehydrated so I made sure I got in over 50 oz of fluid yesterday. Actually it was closer to 60 if you count the soup. I also got in 95g of protein yesterday.
So today is Monday and although I think I feel a tad better I still feel sluggish. I am supposed to go back to work on Thursday, but doubt very much I will make that. I will try and work from home on Thursday and Friday as much as possible.
I sure hope my energy level comes back soon.
Enjoy Monday all.
Geoff

Good morning Liz and all in PA!
Another Monday here in Philly and ready to tackle all that these middle schoolers can dish out. Had some disturbing news over the weekend, a teacher in my youngest daughters school was killed in her home - the rumors are that it was a murder/suicide with her husband, however, they are now saying that it may have been a fight between them both. Young children were left in the wake. SCARY!!!! Fortunately my little one did NOT know the teacher so I am hoping to keep it that way! I hope that those children who know nothing about this can stay innocent a little while longer. I feel awful for the students of this teacher and especially for the faculty. Should be a difficult day to say the least for them.
Anyway, after school today, I am taking my two oldest to the therapist - maybe they can beat each other up there so when they get home, they will be too tired to do it! One can hope! Then after dinner, dance for my 11 year old starts. I still can't figure out when to get to the pool each day. The only time I think I can do it is during dinner. Then my hubby would be annoyed. If he would have patience with the 11 year old and her homework, then maybe I could go after school, but THAT is never going to happen! He has little patience for her stalling tactics! So - that is my job! And....its really not that bad yet.
So that is my day. I will be thinking of Ida today and hoping for wonderful news later this afternoon!
Enjoy this beautiful sunny day everyone! :)
