September Cooking Class / Support Group!

Saturday September 26th!! Noon until??? (usually 4-5pm)

All are welcome regardless of surgeon, type of surgery or stage in the journey! Your support person is also more then welcome! The Hubbys/Boyfriends/Signifigant Others usually hang out in the living room and play Wii.

If anyone has a recipe that they would like to see made more WLS friendly just let me know and I'll get it worked into the menu!

You can park anywhere on my grass (pink garage and forward) if you pull in facing the garage it allows more room for everyone to park! (The lady behind me is a witch and will call the cops if you park on her grass - so pink garage and forward is safe!)


PS - We do ask for a small donation (totally annoymous - there is a jar on the counter) if possible to help offset the costs - or bring a supply such as ziplock bags (for taking home goodies!), crystal light packets, a recipe and ingredients, paper plates or plastic silverware - thanks all!



Sooo.... Who's cooking with me??

I had soooo much fun last month... but this month I will be running in the Tea Burner 5K in NJ.  It is in the historic small town of Greenwich.  During the Boston Tea Party this small town also had their own version of the Boston Tea Party and burned the tea there.  Kind of cool and the run is through the historical town.  Have a great time though!!

again wish I could be there too, but have pauls class reunion......sounds like you will have a sparse group...but who ever comes will have a wonderful time...by the way Liz, just bought my grill pan like yours, got it at Boscovs. was 80 got it for 29.....cooked my eggplant. yummy....now I am packing leaving for vegas early tomorrow morning......Lois

When is your time in Hawaii or was that already?

A sparse group now and again is fine by me :) Not that I don't LOVE the huge groups - but sometimes it is nice to have a more intimate group.

Hawaii is Oct. 30 to Dec. 1...................I can't wait.......................ALOHA.............going to support group meeting there the first sat of the month on Oahu.....meet some of the girls from OH there .

I'm hoping to be there... I might be passed out on the couch but will try to be there... but it would help if Annabelle would sleep at night...

I hate to say this but....I might be coming. It seems like things never work out but.....IF my teenager is still around and can watch the little ones until my hubby gets home from his Saturday morning class I will be there. If not, he doesn't get done until noon so maybe I'll come late...if that is ok. Better late than never, right??? I could use all the support I can get these days. I would love to fianlly meet some of you.
