I need shopping help ladies!
lol so I HATE to shop! I haven't spent "real" money on clothes since surgery and this fall I need some new things - I admit, most of my stuff I can get at Walmart, Marshalls or Target (although lately Target's clothes are extremly cheaply made)
so I digress - what's your favorite in-expensive place to shop? I don't have a ton of money to spend but need to get a few new pairs of jeans/pants and some long sleeved tops and layering pieces for work.
For those that don't know I have mostly a desk job but can be called at any given moment to be on my hands and knees in the shop doing vinyl application and getting dirty.
I would prefer to order the stuff online so I'd also like to know how "true to size" the clothes run.
Thanks ladies!

Liz,
I love Kohl's, Marshalls, T J Maxx and Ross. I agree Target clothing is made cheaply and so are Walmart. I make out like the bandit at Kohl's with all the coupons and their clearance racks. I would love to go shopping with you. Lately retail therapy is the only thing that keeps me sane. Oh I went to Sam's club yesterday and got 5 tops for under $20 they were like $4.51 each. Brand labels like 9 west, BCBG and Ralph Lauren polos!!

I've found some really nice stuff haunting the sale racks at Chico's, actually (pants and jeans in the $14.99 range, for example)... And JC Penney's has great stuff and had some amazing sales going on. Big sale on jeans... nice tops and layering... and once you know which brands fit which way, you can do online ordering really well.
I have to say that I'm missing my old favorite, Zaftique (www.zaftique.com). Great selection, fast cust. svc., really quick and good exchange policy, good quality and price. As a 16, you'd probably be a 0Z - 1Z in their sizing, so it might be worth checking out.
And the outlets are still always a lot of fun!

I know I sound like a broken record but honestly since losing weight Marshalls and TJ Maxx are my new best friends - $10 jeans - NICE jeans?? You can't beat that! But you do have to go often and really look thru their stuff - also watch out when buying tops there because a lot of them are dry clean only - don't know about you but I've never been into the whole dry-cleaning thing - LOL!
The outlets in Lancaster are great but be careful - some of the stores in Rockvale and Tangers are NOT outlet stores - Dress Barn is one. And have you tried Old Navy? I'm not a huge fan but my girlfriend did help me pick some items out there that were cute and very inexpensive.
Have fun shopping - and if you have any nice thrift or consignment shops close to you they are definitely worth looking into.
Good luck!

Liz,
Do you have s Boscov's near you? You can get some really good bargains there. They have coupons in the paper, maybe at the store, and sometimes they have Roulette - when your sales rings up, you get anywehre from 10 to 100% off. They have LOTS of sale racks too, and the coupons count toward sale items. Also, I found some things on sale at BonTon - and they have coupons too! BonTon is pricey, but if you get the 65 or 75% off plus coupon - good deals.
