Friday Roll Call

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK why is it that when we have off monday the week DRAGS?!

I am at work today until 4 then home to make dinner - absolutely nothing planned and loving it! It's going to be a rainy evening so I think that a good dinner and a chick flick curled up on the couch with my kitties is in order!

Tomorrow I am on my own (whoopie!!!) Chris works so I'll do house work.

Lets all remember the events of 9/11 today. We will NEVER forget - a moment of silence and prayer at 8:46am (I think it is)

Well, last night my hubby's eye got poked by a wire in the ceiling of a building he was working at so I have been awake most of the night with him.  Since we have no insurance, he refused to go to the ER.  So, this morning, I am taking him to the eye doctor.  The rest of the day depends on this.

I hope everything works out with your husband.  I had a scare last summer by the pool, kids were playing football and the ball hit me dead on right in the eye.

Everything turned out good though.

Good Morning.........

I am dragging this morning. I have had some minor cold symptoms all week but through the night, it decided to rear it's ugly face and come on full force. So I am out of sorts and feeling very yucky today.

I am hoping the day goes fast. I just want to get out of here. LOL. This definately felt like a full week even though it was a short one.

We are supposed to go to Lancaster this evening. But depending on how I feel we may skip that. So no real plans on the agenda. I think we will play it by ear. It's just Jantzen with us this weekend as the other kiddos are going to thier dad's. So maybe being lazy and taking care of this cold is my best option!

I find that Tylenol Cold or Sudafed right at this early stage really works well in holding off the cold.  I have tried it several times.

I am sipping my first 1/2 cup decaf coffee in quite a while.  Feels weird.  I am going to take a shower, put on some gym clothes, drive to the office in Wayne and go to the gym and do the treadmill for a short while.  I will also stop and see a couple of people at work.  I actually miss them.

I might go to target, I want to get Whitney Houston's new album, I heard it was really good, and want to get those little mini food storage containers.  I am running out.

Might stop by Barnes and Nobles and see what types of Bariatric cookbooks they sell.

Good morning all - I was home recovering from one of my knee replacement surgeries when this tragic event happened - my sister called telling me to turn on the TV because one plane had just hit the first tower, so I sat there all day watching these horrible events unfold, crying like there was no tomorrow, because that's almost how it felt. We must never forget the sacrifices and human lives lost that terrible, terrible day.

I am at work today - maybe the skies are crying because it is September 11th...going to be a quiet day as my boss just called out sick - she hurt her back lifting a box yesterday so I didn't expect to see her today.

Tonight hubby and I are meeting one of my old managers from my last job - haven't seen him in lots of years so it will be kind of exciting to show him the 'new' me. This weekend is busy - tomorrow I'm taking my mother out to Lancaster to meet my niece's husband and the 4 kids - we have a bunch of tile leftover from some house projects that we're giving the kids to redo their bathroom and kitchen. Sunday will be spent at a friends' house in Yardley.

Today is the first day I can relax in 18 months, my presentation went well last evening. It is now done.

Today I'll be here at work till 4, then home for some much needed sleep.
