Any suggestions for my first pureed food tomorrow?

Wanted to add by "slow it down a bit" I meant taking smaller bites and eating slower.  I chew the heck out of it because it tastes so good, but I think I may be eating too fast because I did get that uncomfortable feeling in my pouch.  Until just recently, I wasn't even aware I had a pouch - lol - good luck!

Debbie,

And don't forget... plain greek yogurt is a great way to add a LOT of protein and no fat.  Use it exactly as you would sour cream (top the refried beans, add to soup, stir into casseroles, etc.).

Karen,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm planning to have some refried beans for lunch, and I'm going to add some Greek yogurt to the mix - Thanks again for the idea!

Hi Geoff -
I did yogurt with extra protein powder mixed in.  Dannon Light & Fit was recommended by my NUT since it has a lower sugar content.   Although I could barely finish half of a small container.

I also did refried beans with a little bit of low fat cheese nuked in the microwave.

Pureed is not fun, but it goes really fast.

Lisa
