I'm "Full"
Hi All -
It seems like my "full" sensation has been turned on. I've been noticing it here and there for the last week. Could the nerve endings in my pouch be healed at this point (almost 11 weeks) ? I hope so.
I've haven't had any problems with feeling hungry at all since surgery. I follow the rules, eat what I'm supposed to eat and do it on schedule. But....I hadn't really had that "full" feeling - I just knew that I was done based on the meal size.
It's strange, because I never liked the "full" feeling pre-op. It was a nasty little reminder that I had just pigged out. I don't mind "full" so much now, because I know that I have fed my body good solid nutrition.

oh oh oh.. I love that you just posted this. I blogged this am about the very same thing. I'm only two weeks out but except for the first few days... I don't feel "full". Im not hungry but I do not get that 'full' feeling I was expecting. I thought it was just me. Today you are my favorite person!!!!
I had the full feeling very early out - like almost immediately. I remember feeling full off of 3 sips of protein shake early out. The Full feeling definately comes back way before the hungry one (Thank God! lol)
Just remember that it still takes 20 minutes for the brain to realize that the stomach is full!
