My daughter taught for two years at Elkton Middle School, right after she graduated from West Chester.  Now, she lives in Michigan where she is a reading specialist in a small school district.  I teach 7th grade Social Studies in Philadelphia.

That's cool Trish!  Not many people know about Elkton - the armpit of Cecil County... lol.  I shouldn't call it the armpit - I live there!

Good morning Liz and PA:

First day of school was fun - some kids said some things, but it was the parents who almost walked right by me until I said good morning to them.  That was TOTALLY fun! :)  Then last night at the synagogue with teachers that I have not seen since May - they were all in awe!  It was a great start to the school year!

Today I am fasting for my blood work later.  I am hoping to run over to the doctor during my morning break, however, if they can't take me, I will have to fast until after school to get it done.  Oh well....Once every three months is NOT a big deal!  (If I can do it on Yom Kippur, I can do it now!:))  Tonight should be a quiet evening at home, this will probably be the last week of quiet evenings as Hebrew School, soccer, swimming, dance and girl scouts begins next week.  Love the fall! :)

Have a nice day all! :)

Feel better Liz!

I slept pretty darn decently last night which was surprising cause I slept well during the day too, too.  Oh well.  Of course...I'm tired this morning probably due to getting to much sleep?  LOL

Anyway - today.  I honestly have no idea.  MIL has a doctors appointment as per Brian so I never made arrangements with her for the shopping excursion...maybe next week.

Brian talked about maybe a movie or something...we shall see.  Either way, nothing to exciting!

Moring everybody - geez, hope you feel better soon, Liz - working when you feel like crap is not an easy thing.

I'm at work. Nothing big going on here. Remembered my gym bag so I'll be going to Curves after work. Other than that a fairly quiet day.

Hope everyone has a good day - stay dry - rain is coming.

Morning All!

Liz - I hope you get yourself feeling a lot better REAL soon... seems like you've had a run of feeling crappy for quite a while now!

I managed to get out of bed this morning (after my first ever 2-workout day, which ended in Zumba last night).  Woo hoo!  I'm a little creaky, but feel not-so-bad - certainly not as bad as I was afraid I'd feel.

I'm working my normal hours today then heading to a Guild of Craftsmen meeting tonight.

Otherwise, nothing too exciting.

Stay healthy, folks!
