1 year ago today

Hi everyone,   A year ago today, I walked into Dr C's office and told him I wanted WLS in particular a Lap Band.  A month later, I met Dr. U and the journey began in earnest.  I went through my 6 months of testing and classes to get ready for my Realize Band surgery. I lost 20# during that time.     I just got back from Dr. U's office.  I am happy to report that I have lost 31% of my body weight, 59# and a total of 35 inches over all. He said the average person loses 34% by the first year so   I am well ahead of the game plan.  I have gone from a size 28W pants to 20W  and from a size 3x shirt to a XL or L depending on the cut   .  I am fitting into clothes I haven't worn in 9 years. ( Yes I still have them  lol)

I have been doing the happy dance all afternoon.
