Lisa Schnibb Hunt and family

Some of you know Lisa from Barix.  She is a post op patient who has done an amazing job with her tool  She married Russ a few years ago, and he's a wonderful support for her.

Once she got married, her and Russ tried for almost a year to conceive a child.  It was not "easy" and it did take almost the full year for her to become pregnant.

List delivered her baby girl, Hailey, by emergency c section.  The delivery did not go as planned and when Hailey was born she was not breathing.  She was delivered and subsequently intubated and placed on a ventilator (breathing machine)

She was then flown from the New Jersey hospital to Jefferson hospital in Philadelphia.  At one point she had "successfully" been weaned from the ventilator but apparantly had a very rough night, was intubated again, and is having seizures.

Lisa (Schnibb as her friends call her), Russ, and Hailey need all the prayers, good thoughts, or whatever you believe in right about now.

I know many of you do not kow them, but I know the power of this group is amazing.  Shauna has been keeping some of us updated via email, but thought I would throw it out here for those that we may not have email lists for.  And if anyone wants to send their names and situations to prayer groups etc that they are involved in, that would be wonderful too.

Thanks all!  My heart goes out to them, as does my love and support, and prayers.

Pam

Many good thoughts and prayers going out to Lisa and her family - nothing worse than a baby going through all that - they're so defenseless and helpless. I can only imagine what the parents are going through - you're a wonderful friend for posting this. Kathy

Thank you for adding that, Liz, I totally forgot to add that - I had seen that update as well.

I will be out but Shauna will call me with any important updates and I will check my email when I get home late tonight and update as I find things out.

Anyone else can feel free, too, as well.

Thanks for letting us know Pam.  I only met the "other" Lisa Hunt once and she and Russ were both really nice.  I pray for them and for baby Hailey to get through this.  With our love, support and prayers she can make it through!!

It's an unfortunate situation to be in for sure, so let's all keep the family in our prayers and keep thinking good thoughts!
