October Issue Woman's Day Magazine
If anyone has the opportunity to pick up this month's issue of Woman's Day there is a wonderful story on Page 80 titled 'My Sister's Bike' that is very heart-warming and relates to an issue that is close to all of us - weight loss surgery and how it can (and has) transformed our lives.
I guess it touched me because of my new bike and the fact that I love being able to hop on it now and ride and feel like a kid again - something I haven't been able to do in 30 years. I love the feeling of freedom you have when you're riding a bike and the fact that even tho I'm thoroughly enjoying an evening ride around my development I also know I'm working my heart, my muscles and becoming healthier with every push of the pedals.
So if you have the chance pick it up and read it, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
