update on my dad -- prayers please
I am so sorry you are going through this. Cancer is an ugly thing! You and your family are in my thoughts. Spend time with your dad and don't worry so much about the rest.

Lisa, sorry about your dad..........but as everyone said before me, everything else can wait, and you need to focus on him and you will not regret one minute of it later on......it is hard being the daughter and your dad with another woman....even though you love her and she is wonderful, she is still another woman in your dads life, and it does hurt just a little even if we don't want to say it......don't know when your dad remarried, how old you were, I was l6, and my dad left us when I was five...or seven, can't even remember anymore because it isn't important now, but that lady ( I use that word lady with question) lol.. passed away five years ago, and my dad found a wonderful woman and remarried at age 80, she is wonderful and they live in florida. they are married three years now...........I wish I could see him more but the distance and me taking care of my mom & stepdad who live next store to me stops that from happening.......I can understand how you feel about your dad......but spend all the time you can with him, I and my husband will pray for you and your whole family.............love you and wish you peace of mind & heart.. Lois If there is anything at all we can do for you we are here!
Lisa,
Your dad, and you will be in my prayers...it is so hard to face the gravity of some illnesses. I also understand what you are saying regarding feeling like an outsider.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
