****Thrilling Thursday Roll Call****
Good Morning Everyone,
Good Lord, it is after midnight, and I have to go to school in the morning. Yikes....I cannot wind down tonight, and for the love of me, I have no clue why.
Thursday, let's see...AA meeting, pick up friend to drive her to work, go to work, get coffee and something edible from the free breakfast they offer, sit through boring professional development to learn how we are going to be evaluated and picked apart this year, get handed another ream of paper I won't look at again till I throw it away in June, show pictures of my grandchildren to coworkers who have not been tortured with them yet, go to my classroom and try to organize it some more, put stuff away, run papers off, hang posters, ...are you bored yet? I am trying to make it sound interesting...bu****ching paint dry can give more thrills on some days.
After work, I hope to get the dog to the park for more exercise. I also have to finish up the tidying around here. Oh, and I MUST get my license renewal for my social work license into the mail with my continuing ed credits. That is vital.
So, I hope and pray that some of you have more exciting days planned. Steffi, tell me things are more exciting where you are.

Morning!
We woke up at around midnight....probably from sleeping on and off since 7p. Luckily, he has not had to much pain, which we are BOTH thankful for!
Just running out to pick up a few more items Brian wants...and just staying low today in the house. I have off again tonight...so nothing pressing. I have a feeling both of us will be napping throughout the day.
Have fun setting up your classroom, Trish. I can only imagine that it is like decorating a room in your house (well, maybe not THAT fun) - a lot of work but the outcome looks great!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. 
Up and at it early today. Trying to get some work done, since our technology snafus continue. The office moved to a new location last week, and it's becoming more than frustrating!
Anyway, e mail is still not working 100%, phone isnt' forwarding properly...
I have to leave at 9:30 a.m. for a presentation in Maryland, so this morning will put finishing touches on that.
Eat breakfast, shower, find something to wear that fits.
Drive, Present. Drive home.
Exercise.
Dinner (late again...)
Sleep.
Tomorrow leaving at noon-ish for Vermont. We have 2 sons there, one of whom is being deployed to Afghanistan in October. It will be good to see them and their families for the holiday weekend.
Anyway, e mail is still not working 100%, phone isnt' forwarding properly...

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
Morning all..we made it over the hump and there's clear skies ahead!
So today has me sending Siehara off for day 2 of school. She came home in a great mood yesterday even though there were issues with her bus in the afternoon. She loves her new general studies teacher and has the same Hebrew/Judaics teacher as last year, so she is used to him... doesn't necessarily "like" him, but is used to him and he is used to her.
I'm working 7-3:30. Hopefully Siehara will get home on time because I have my 6 MONTH checkup with the surgeon today.. almost forgot.. good thing I checked my calendar before posting role call.. LOL! I would have remembered when I looked at my phone, but it slipped my mind for a minute.
After my appointment, we will come home and have dinner and then hit the gym. Tonight is choir 7-9, The concert is coming up and we need to be ready.
That's it for me.. another busy day in the life of Lisa.

Oh Trish - wait until you hear the excitement that is all the buzzat my school today - are you ready......setting up our classrooms.....yup - you heard it....we are the most amazing bunch in the city of Philadelphia! :) UGH! Well - I shouldn't complain - we really do not have any meetings today. Many of the faculty is out of the building today for specialist type meetings - so - I am actually looking forward to climbing and taping and stapling and typing and all the other good stuff one can do without people around.
However, after school, I am DETERMINED to get my butt, and the rest of me, back to the pool. It has been over 2.5 weeks and I was soooo close to swimming a half mile, I hope that I can atleast get close to that again. After the pool, I have the evening to myself as Larry and the kids are still down the shore. A very good friend of mine had RNY yesterday at Abington Hospital - I have told her about the boards and think she may have been perusing, but has not posted as of yet - I may head out to visit her - however, I remember how I felt the second day and visitors were NOT want I was in the mood for - so I may call her to see if she wants company or not!
And that...my friends....is an exciting day in the life of Steffi.....So Trish - was it all you had hoped for???? :)

Morning started off great. I was up on time, out the door early and then I get to work and my parking garage is NOT OPEN. What the hell???? It's supposed to be open at 6:00am. Fortunately, I get in early enough to park on the street for a while before they start checking the meters at 9:00am. Hopefully the garage will be open by then. But I guess if that is the worst part of my day, I'm doing ok....haha
Today has me at wor****il 3:30pm and then home to get a good walk in. I walked last night and I felt really good after I did it.
Had a great support group meeting last night too at the Phoenixville Hospital. It's been a good week.

Another exciting day for me! Finally off for my bloodwork this morning as I have been putting it off for two days. Then I have an ultrasound at noon, then hit the gym for a bit as they are in the same building so there is no way I can be there and not go in! Hehe!!
After that home for a quick shower and then to work 3:30 to midnight. Pretty exciting things for me today!!

Today is day 4 of my liquid diet. I checked my blood sugar this morning and for the first time in a year it was under 200....YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course I was also curious and got onto the scale have lost 6 pounds since starting the liquid diet....so I'm officially down 11lbs since my official weight in at the surgeons office....YEAH!!!!
I'll be here at work till 4, hopefully at my lunch break (what's that most of the time), I'll be able to put a solid hour working on my final presentation paper. Then after work stop at Curves for a short workout. Home to work on my paper some more, Gene will be out late tonight as he is seeing clients till 8pm. Usually I'm in class on Thursday nights so he arranges his late night for clients on Thursdays
That's it for my "exciting" day....
