So who is exercising on Thursday???
Ok...I didn't see this yet this morning....but I could have missed it. What is everyone doing today to move those booties?
Last night I had a hard core (and painful) workout at karate. I am bruised and sore and stiff...and the thing is, my body doesn't fully bruise and stiffen until 48 hours out...so I am expecting tomorrow to be fun!! But, i have to say that i LOVE the rough and painful classes ...much much better than the classes were we are learning the different and numerous (that I can never get straight) routines and katas. After that, I went to the gym...I have come to realize that men are simply always going to be stronger and bigger and tougher....so I need to condition myself to run run run away as fast as I can LOL
Tonight it is back to the gym to sweat away the pounds. I went back on bc pills about a week and a half ago and my weight shot up 10 pounds...of course right before I have to go see Dr. Brader for my 3 year. This happens every time I have been off of them and go back on....grrrrrr. At least the benefits will outweigh (ha...no pun intended) the temporary weight gain.
Ok...so what is everyone else doing today?

Heather,
Those classes sound like fun! For a brief time a long time ago I did aiki-jujitsu and I loved the rough-and-tumble classes - much more fun than katas. Although sword katas were a lot of fun...
And my old sensei used to say to everyone "these skills are only to be used when running away doesn't work." So it sounds like your attitude is right on!
I dragged my reluctant butt out of bed this morning and went on a 2+ mile run. Logged my best mile times ever! Yay. Followed up with pushups and stretches. Will do my arm weights tonight (for some reason, they seem to be better at night. Go figure).
