OT Made in china!
Is there anything that isn't made in China? Ugh! Brighton jewelry made in taiwan and Ugg boots made in China. No wonder the economy sucks and when I call Comcast I get someone in the Carribean and same with Macys. And you wonder why finding a job is difficult! And we pay such good American dollars for these items?
Okay I am going to put my two cents in. I understand you fursterations and concerns but we as American's demand lower pricing on just about everything. If you see all those Walmart commercials you will see greeting cards for .44cents and eye glass frames for kids for $9 with one year gurantee. We need to take some of the blame for shipping some of the jobs overseas. We demand lower pricing but don't want the jobs to leave our country and it's just not realistic.
Oh I totally agree with your opinion its just that our jobs are going overseas and yes we are responsible and Obama should do something about that. Its just that we do pay heavy prices for things like Uggs and Brighton jewelry just as an example and we are charged out of the wazoo for somethink made in another country I expected (unrealistly) it to be made here.
A humerous reply:
My daughter is adopted from China and she constantly points out the "Made in China" label on the bottom of everything she sees.
I joke with my family that when she grows up, if (unfortunately) tatoos haven't gone out of style, I'd find it funny if she got "Made in China" tatooed on her bottom. When she gets married (ha!), her hubby would flip her over for a surprise :-)
Just thought I'd share a smile!

OMG Pat! That is just tooooooo freakin' funny
And it brought to mind a cute little "tattoo" story. I was helping with an examination of a female at work ...and on her butt there was a tattoo that looked like a red rubber stamp and said "100% pure beef" Problem was....she was 65....as she rolled over she said "I know....I know...it seemed like a really great idea when I was 18 and a runner!"

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Pat I had to laugh at your post that way funny made my day. I was just saying that because certain things we pay a high price for if you do look inside a pair of Ugg boots or Brighton jewelry you really do not expect to see that. I am sure your China doll is beautiful. Had to laugh at the husband flipping her over though.
