This is it
OMG, this is it, today is the day for the bypass. I just can't believe it is here and I can't believe how nervous I aml Okay, I am excited too.
I was hoping to sleep in this morning until about 8 am but that didn't happen. I woke up every hour throughout the night.
I am a huge coffee drinker in the morning, it gets me up and going and boy do I miss my cofffee this morning. My throat and mouth are so dry from not having had anything to drink since midnight. I know that is only the beginning.
I am leaving here at 9:30 this morning even though I don't have to be at the hospital until 11. It is about 40-50 minute drive depending on the traffic. I want to get some before photos in front of the hosptial. My sister took a few shots in Connecticut last week but they came out so dark you could hardly see them. Plus the friend who is taking me to the hospital has to go to work afterwards and I really don't want to mess her up. It is just easier for me to sit around at the hospital and wait.
Someone from my office has been in the same hospital since last week. She has a blood clot in her lung, and I am very worried about her. She is in her late 30's/early 40's and very heavy.
I am going to ask the doctor again if he can fix the hiadel hernia while he is in there. I hope he does.
Okay, I'm a babbling mess here.
Time for a shower.
See you all on the bench!!!

Can't wait to see your before and after pictures - make sure you get plenty 'befores' so you can really see how wonderful this tool is and how good you're going to do with it. You seem very well prepared for everything coming your way - you know we are out here almost 24/7 to offer advice, support, comfort - whatever you need.
Big hugs to you this morning - will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers thru-out the day (and always, of course!!).
