seeing the progress
OK - so this feels a little like bragging, but what the heck - y'all know where I'm coming from.
This is really the first time I remember EVER liking a photo and being able to see myself as a whole person, rather than focusing in on the roll of fat around my waist or how my eyes crinkled in the fat of my face, or whatever. It's the first time I've been able personally to look at a picture of me and seen ME (the smile on my face) instead of the flaws.
A co-worker/friend took the pic for me today because I was telling Katie (who's away at school) about this cute skirt I had found to go with this really cute pair of ankle boots... I wanted to show her the outfit. How I felt about the pic was a completely unexpected side benefit.
