I just wanted to give a big shout out to Liz for opening her home and her heart to all of us. I had the best time at her house on Saturday and plan to be there almost every cooking class going forward. I did not get out of the kitchen once. Ate like a HOG but felt so loved in a room filled with my soul-mates. I love each and every woman and men who were in that house. I am so blessed to have met so many good people in this life. I am getting teary just writing this post. What is the matter with me??

You're pregnant, Shilpa - hormones raging all over the place - LOL!!

But even tho I couldn't make it to Liz's for her cooking class I will second everything that Shilpa said about Liz and that she puts her heart and soul into this board and finding healty, tasteful recipes for us and making them fun to boot. Even tho I don't attend I do take advantage of the end results by using some of the recipes she posts out here.

So yes, THANK YOU LIZ for all of your hard work and effort that you put into everything you do!!

Awww Shilpa,
Yes it's always a great time at Liz's, she handles everything so well and you see all the activity going on all at once and she doesn't skip a beat. Although healthy food and recipes are a attraction at Liz's gatherings, still the primary drive is support for all of us. And I know that is what you felt there. Well you were not alone. Everyone felt it and we all had a great time, newcomers and oldtimers alike. It's okay to get emotional about things, I encourage it because I do it too. it's easy when you have such wonderful people all around you. And they really care about you.

WEll that you to you all. I too Love each and everyone of you! I Do this not only for all of you - but for myself - it is therapy and the best support comes along with it. It makes me happy to be in the kitchen sharing what I love to do! I got teary reading all of your kind words!!

Thank You to each of you for making the cooking class what it has turned in to  - over THIRTY people passed through my kitchen saturday! We started out with about 5. Infact the first meeting was just me, Dennis and Shauna! That was where the plan for a meeting where we cook came about. I also love that those that can not attend still try the recipes at home AND we sparked interest in a similar group in western PA that is just getting off the ground!!

Thank you again to you all!

Love and hugs

I haven't gotten to a cooking class yet, but I plan to get there one of these days.  I'm always a little jealous when I hear what a great time everyone had.   lol   I'm not much of a cook, but I've been saving all the wonderful recipes that are posted on here and intend to really start trying to cook.  And even though I haven't gotten to a class yet, Liz, I appreciate all the wisdom of your posts!!!

I hope to meet all of you in person soon!!!!
