Hi All -
Nothing fun here today.  I'm at work all day and then off to the Doc's tonight.  Will most likely be a late night, so I guess I'll be a little cranky tomorrow morning ~ I hate late nights.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning!  Nothing exciting here today.  Work, an early dinner out with friends and then hopefully to the gym.  I have been slacking off getting there and need to get back into the routine.  Hopefully I will keep my annoyance with humanity well hidden today.  I am counting down the hours until my vacation.

More of the same today.  I will take a couple of walks, work on getting in the protein, and goof on the computer.  I see the doctors tomorrow for my first checkup.  At least that will break up the day.  Also going to call Curves and the local Community Center for pricing information.  If I can I will arrange for tours of the facilities tomorrow.  I want to get something structured arranged for when I am able to start an excercise program.  I checked out some cd's and such but I am afraid I will find too many exused for not excercising.  I spend entirely too much time in this house when I am not working so I want to be able to get out and meet new people and do things in a group setting.  I started a whole new life on August 20th and I want to start living it as soon as possible.  Have a wonderful Monday.

GREAT attitude, Kathy!  I love your line about "started a whole new life on Aug 20" and that will get you through some rough spots.

When you go to the centers today, they may be able to give you tours on the spot.  A lot of places do that.  Good luck!

Good morning everyone!

Pam - my mom lives with me (has for the past 17+ years) and is the same way every day - drives me bonkers.  I think it's the need to be needed, but it gets incredibly annoying.  She pushes food on everyone who enters the house... helps me realize some of why my eating was so out of control.

Trish - sounds like you did the right thing to get checked out and I'm glad that everything seems to be ok.  The ABG sounds awful, though!

Today's a rough one - first day of class, which is after work.  I'm on campus from 8 am - 10 pm on Mondays, and that's exhausting until you get used to it.  And of course I woke up crampy and blech this morning, which doesn't help.

My friend's husband died yesterday afternoon, as well, so I'm taking a couple of hours from work this afternoon to run down there before class.  Her outlook is so positive - she said "now the healing can start" for her and the kids... but this is going to be a rough week, I think.

Sigh.

Good Morning Pam & PA,

Pam, I have family members like that too, makes you crazy, espicially after surgery and they want you to eat...too much.

Trish, Glad to hear you are ok!!

Stephi- So sorry about the PMS, Hope you are feeling better soon! I can say that I can't even remember PMS, I had a hysterectomy two years ago due to PCOS symptoms and having my period for 6 months straight!! I did have PMS for six months!! My poor husband!! I will say it is the best thing I have done for myself with the exception of my WLS.

Karen, so sorry about your friends husband!! I can't even begin to imagine.

Today has me hanging with the kids getting all last minute supplies ready for school. Gotta hit the dollar store and Costco. After that I am heading to work from 3:30 to midnight. I am off tomorrow and I can't wait to get back to the gym. I hope you all have a great day today!!
Christine
