harrisburg area

does anyone know if there is a group that meet in the Harrisburg area.. I think it would be nice to have a support group for this area

There's a group that meets the 2nd Monday of the month at Pinnacle Health (Harrisburg-off Union Deposit Exit of Rt 83). Meeting starts at 6:00 and the next one is on Sept 14. There is also one I attend in Gettysburg on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30. This one I really enjoy.

I live 15 minutes from the G-Burg one and have yet to make it. I would love to but Thursdays are so busy at my house! Maybe once the cool weather comes, and I don't have too much Homework I will try to venture over.

They are a great bunch of people. There's always a nurse from the York Bariatric group there to answer questions or lead the meeting and sometimes a speaker. Alot of interaction between participants and I usually learn something I didn't  know before. You should try and make it but I sure know what you mean about things being busy, especially with litlle ones like yours. You are actually the one that gave the info on  G-burg a while ago and I've been going ever since. Hope to meet you there sometime.
