WOW moments last night
I need to go to 2 business meetings next month and i have NOTHING to wear. I only wear scrubs at work, and all of my other "business casual" clothes are way too big so i decided to do some shopping.
I found 2 pairs of nice pants and one capris and one pair of SKINNY JEANS........NO ELASTIC WAISTS.......woooooo hooooooooo. size 12 petite and no elastic......zippers and buttons and i got them on. I about fell onto the floor in disbelief, and when i got over that i almost ran thru the store jumping for joy.
First of all, i havent worn pants without an elastic waist in ummm what maybe 10 years?
Second, the size is a number.....12 petite.......not a letter like L or XL. I had no clue what "number" I was for pants but i finally found it! I think i was probably a 22 pants before without elastic.
Third, they were all on sale. And its amazing the selection in normal sizes that you can find on sale as compared to the larger sizes.
Since i'm not at goal yet I was hesitant to buy 4 pairs of pants, but i needed the dress pants. I cant go to these meetings with my droopy drawers, The capris and jeans, well i could use them for fall casual and they were on sale LOL
I also got 3 cute tops. I went from 3-4xl tops to 1 xl. If it werent for still having belly flab i could get away with smaller tops, but i've always been bigger on top than normal. But these are cute, and again, on sale!!!
whoot whoot.........im so excited.......some new clothes in decent sizes! I just cant get over mainly that i got into pants with zippper and snap/button.....no elastic..........im gonna faint.

Running into the same problem myself just been told I have to go to the Corporate office for 2 weeks once in Sept and again in November. I'm sure my size will change in between so I am going to buy just 2 pairs of dress pants (probably black) and just wash them out in the hotel room.
Presentable tops I have - been going to yard sales to pick them up.
Kind of excited to go - 1st time anyone at the Corporate office has seen me for a year and a half - 112 lbs done - should make a difference...
