Whooo hooo for driving!  Sounds like you are doing so well - congrats!  Bring tha****er bottle with you when you go out today!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I am off today.  I'm not sure what I will do.  If the weather is bad, as predicted, I hopefully will do some workout in the basement.  I have such grand ambitions but they usually stay that way.  I'm hoping today will be different.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Morning all! I am at work today but battling a severly prissy pouch - the ONLY reason I came in is that my boss is going on vacation for a week and a half and I need to coordinate with him before he leaves so I can best take care of things while he is gone. I will be requesting to leave at lunchtime though (he is leaving at noon). When I get home I think a nap will be in order then prepping for cooking class tomorrow!!!

Can't wait to see everyone!

TGIF!!!!

Today has me awake on time!! Good start, right?!? I still need coffee though.  Now, I wish I HAD stopped at Sheetz on my way home to get the frozen latte to stick in my freezer.  I guess I'll just have to drink the stuff brewing in my pot instead.

After work, I am going to hit the gym.  According to Rocco, today should be hard cardio so I'm THINKING about checking out this group treadmill class.  I'm not sure though because the instructor scares me. LOL!! She's this little tiny thing, but she YELLS like she is 6'2 and 250 lbs!! She could kick my arse in a minute!   That's probably exactly what I need.

After the gym, depending on Siehara's behavior today, I may hang out with my old Friday night family.  I told Sarah it depended totally on how Siehara acts if we will be able to do anything.  She spent all day yesterday in her room reflecting on her behavior.  I'm thinking today will be a repeat of that as I am not quite sure one day was enough for her.

I also have to make sure I have everything Pampered Chef together for tomorrow for Liz's.  I can't wait to meet everyone new who is coming and to see those of you I already know.  It's going to be a great class!!

LIZ--hope you're feeling up to the insanity in your kitchen.  Put that prissy pouch in her place!!!!

Pam thank you for clearing that mystery up for me I appreciate it and Lisa I am going thru the same thing with Heather and I threaten to take her cell from her, kidnap her horse and repo the cable and ground her sorry butt. Ugh!  I feel like painting a target with a bull's eye on the wall and running my head into it or pulling my hair or hers out of our heads! Hardest job in the world being a parent and yet people keep signing up for it.  Hopefully one day you and I can look back on this and exhale and say we survived! And laugh about it to boot! Ugh! I thought I knew it all when I was her age boy was I wrong!

Hi Trish and everyone!   I have a busy day ahead of me - actually had to set the alram this morning.  I have a meeting at 9 at the synangogue todicuss Israel with yet another person who now thinks that because I was just there, I am an expert, NOT!!!!!!!!  Then home to get Josh to his annualdr. appt and then to the therapist for his first appointment - mostly he is going so that he can figure out how to deal with his sister, her issues and his parents (that would be me and Larry) dealings with said sister.  Tonight, I agreed to let Molly have some friends over for dinner and to hang out.  What was I thinking!  And....Larry unfortunately has a viewing to go to for a VERY young colleague and is freaked out about it.  The guy was only 41, died suddenly, and they still don't know why he died.  OY!  The Medics in the Philly Fire Department are all in a state of shock.

So looking forward to meeting so many of you at Liz's tomorrow!

Have a great Friday!

Good Morning.....rough start already!

My oldest son missed the bus. Luckily his dad has off today and could run him so I didn't have to leave work, but what a pain in the butt that is, when school is NOT close and the other kiddos are still trying to get ready for school.

Today has me at work. I will get MORE labs done later this morning. Then I have my follow up appt with my Neprologist at 2:00. Alot of my labs looked pretty good so who knows what is next. I saw my new Hematologist yesterday and SHE ROCKS! She ordered a bunch of things for me but she says she is determined to find an answer for me. She is very "curious" about my poast diagnosis and history and symptoms. So we will see.

Tonight it will just be me, Johnny and Jantzen. We will probably just hang out and watch a movie since the weather is crappy.

Hope everyone has a wonderful friday.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Good morning all - I'm definitely the boring one on the boards this morning - I'm at work sipping my morning 'fix' - boss called out sick so its going to be a quiet day.

Most exciting part of my day may be a new car in our garage tonight - we've been tossing around trading in hubby's car on a newer, nicer model but then decided not to, until last night when we got home and had a flyer from the dealer making us an offer we may not be able to refuse. He's going over there today to see just how good this offer is.

Other than that my day will be quiet - forgot I didn't have anything here for lunch so ordering out may be on my agenda.

Take care and stay dry.
