Trish,
Happy Surgiversary. You truly are an inspiration to a lot of us.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Thanks Heather...I appreciate your encouragement.

Happy Surgiversary Trish!
Three years can move right along and life doesn't slow down for any of us. It can be fruitful and pleasant, it can be sour and challenging, but the living is always worth it. Congratulations but also thank you for all you do. Thanks for keeping our roll call alive from back in the days of Tom Tyler and thanks for posting and replying the way you do. Thanks for being honest about your own journey and your personal struggles. Thanks for sharing the wonderful parts too. It's all important for you and for us. Life can be hard, but it's harder when you're alone. We will never be alone again.

Hope to see you soon,

Dennis

Sweet Dennis,
You are the very first person I remember from my first pre-op meeting in June of '06.  You took a bunch of us upstairs for a tour, and you, and Patty answered a ton of questions we had.  Your time, and willingness to be there for me, is part of why I give back as I do.  If you had not done what you did then, I am not sure I would have had the courage to move forward with my decision to have the surgery in the first place.  When I left Barix that night, I had such a sense of peace and calm about having the surgery.  I had no doubts, no fears, and trusted God for the process.

Thanks for your generosity of time, energy and love.  I am just paying it forward.

Hugs,
Trish

Congrats on your accomplishments and THREE years of successing! I have always appreciated your posts, your opinions, your courage and your honesty.  This is the best site and its because of people like you!

I think it is so important to those that are new to this journey to hear from the long timers, and we are long-timers now - thanks for sharing and again... congrats

Trish, girlfriend, you've always been there with a good word!  Through ups and down and gains and losses you've bounced back and moved on....THAT's inspirational!!!  YOU are a very special member of this board.   Congrats, HUGS and a continued healthy journey through life

Jackie,
I appreciate that you are here as well.  It is neat that there are many still here that were here when I first posted in June of '06.  I also appreciate the newer faces, and those who have yet to get to the bench.

Hugs,
Trish
