Pins and Needles

Hi Everyone,

Okay, I am on pins and needles today.  I went for all my pre-surgical testing yesterday and now I am waiting and hoping for medical clearance.

I know my EKG came in abnormal, which it has done so for the past 2 years, but at least the abnormality has been consistent.  So I am hoping this is not a show stopper.  Also, out of the last 3 blood tests I had, 2 times my  ANA was postivie and once my white cell counts were high, so I am nervous about the blood work too.

My surgery is scheduled 1 week from today, so I am getting anxious.

Supposedly my surgeon will have all the results today and my doctor's office will have to call over there to get the results.

So hopefully, I will hear something in the next day or two.

In the meantime, it's pins and needles for me.

Hang in there. Waiting on approval can be stressful. I remember well. Hope you hear good news soon!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I'm right there with you. I'm 19 days from surgery and not sure if it's going to happen on that date or not at the moment. Will find out more today I hope

I know when my hubby was going through all his pre-op testing it was nerve wracking as well....hang in there

Hang in there!  Remember...if they find something that could potentially harm you  - it's better to find out now, get it taken care of, and THEN have surgery.  It's devestating if it does happen (I know...I had an undiagnosed thyroid problem that ended up post poning my surgery) but it's all in your best interest.

I'm keeping everything crossed for you, though!  Hopefully everything is fine and the medical clearance goes through without a hitch!

Hi -
Try not to stress too much.  As Pam said....it's better to know in advance if you have a problem.
Hang in there.

My fingers are crossed for you but its better to find out before surgery and address it then there is a reason we have to do the cardio so good luck and my thoughts are with you.  Toes crossed too.
