Today also is...
Well thank you everyone! Sadly I FORGOT that today was my anniversary. How sad/patheitc is that! I haven't even been on OH in a few weeks but checked in because I have a question about my B12 levels. (they are very low and I feel like crap)
it's been a good year in so many ways (I can count 102 ways/weighs) but it's also been a very exhausting year with taking care of my very sick mother. I am so involved in her care. She had surgery for a brain tumor in December that lead to 5 months in a coma and months of rehab/nursing home. I finally got her on out on her own and she ends up having a massive heart attack this past Wednesday. Ugh it will never end.
I am so resentful, I'm an only child and there is no one else but me to help her. She's 59 and a complete mess. And yes, she's obese with a Type II Diabetes, Asthma, Hypertension and her cholesterol level is a whopping 350+! And she's in shock she had a heart attack! UGH UGH!
I know I know but for the grace of god there go I. My mother is a shining example of why I am ever so grateful I had the surgery and hopefuly will not be the heath burden to my 3 children that she has become to me.
I started therapy this past week to help me deal with all the stress because the only way I know how to deal with stress is to STUFF FOOD IN MY FACE!
I'm just overwhelemed being the mother of a toddler and 5 teenagers and a crazy/sick mother *****ly on me for everything.
The good news is that Scott & I are headed to London next month for a few days of R&R and I'm not freaking out abotu an 8 hour flight crammed in a seat that I don't fit in.
Congrat sto you too Lesley and an early congrats to you too Tanya!
