Today is...

Today, Aug. 25th, is another special day in our world. One year ago today our friend Lesley Goodwin took a tremendous leap and hasn't landed yet. She joined us all on the bench but she's a true starter, a first stringer and we're all proud to be in her company. She's  doing GREAT! Lesley's journey is so inspirational, her weight loss is phenomenal, her support has always been high among patients in general at Barix, OH and "The Mean Girls" but it took on another level when she joined us as a Barix Support Group Leader. Lesley's journey is a special one, we love our Lesleygirl and today we congratulate and celebrate her milestone!  

Happy One Year Surgiversary Lesley!

Lesley we met at a pre-op meeting and little did I know upon that meeting you would turn out to be one of my good friends along this journey. You are honest balls to the wall forward in this journey and I admire you so much.

  I feel blessed to have you as a Mean Girl Sister and thank you for being my voice of reason in crazy times! 

Keep on rocking this journey cause you were and are one hot Momma!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!  I can't believe it's been a year already!  I will post my reflections later today -- for now, I have to get through my morning round of work meetings, without jumping and yelling "IT'S MY SURGIVERSARY, EVERYONE!"  :)
