**** SUPER SUNDAY ROLL CALL ****
Imagine my surprise when at 7:21 AM - no one had started the roll call. So - here I am - just fell down half a flight of stairs - I'll live - only to find it has been raining....AGAIN! Normally I am an upbeat positive, annoying "morning person" but this wasnot sucha great morning so far...And I have A LOT to do today.
Most importantly, I have to leave in about an hour to drive to the Poconos to pick up my son finally, from camp, and really, who wants to do this in the rain? Gotta love damp duffel bags! :( On the way home, we are stopping at a friends new house - have yet to get a gift....any thoughts? Then I get to take my brother and visit with my sister - he does not want to see her or the kids - which I can't blame him, but he knows he has to. (Reminder that my sister is Orthodox and does not discipline her four very young children - not that being orthodox means ot disciplining, however, they are VERY wild andthenher ways are VERY diferent than ours) She is already annoyed with me - becuase she invited us to bbq at her place, and we, (my brother and I) think that we don't want to spend more than an hour there - so I told her that it was Joshua's first night backafter 4 weeks and he is going to want to have pizza, not kosher bbq. Her response, "we can have pizza." My response, "Yeah, but he doesn't want kosher pizza, he wants it from his regular place." Oops - I can hear my mother now saying, "Stef, is it such a big deal? Maybe that is why she was in my dream last night....hmmm....
Then we never did get to see our great-uncle yesterday so we are going to try to fit that in as well.
That is my day - hope you all have a good one!

Steff I would suggest flowers or a Woodwick candle for the new house gift. Easy to pick up and both very nice!
I will be heading out to church shortly, then spending the afternoon (1) straightening the house for our house/dog sitter who is coming on Tuesday, (2) packing for a week away to northern Michigan - son is getting married at the end of the week!, and (3) making a huge list of things to do for Monday (clean the car, get mani & pedi, finish packing...)
Somewhere in there we'll have dinner - I think we may try some grilled chicken.

As for me today has me headed out to church in a few..then to the store to pick up more cranberry juice for this bladder infection...uggggg.....I would like to be healthy and normal again..LOL
Then home to finish laundry and organize my closet some...decide what dresses are going to the tailors to be taken in and then just going to relax ...read ...maybe do some cross stitch..and then get my stuff together so I can head back into my classroom tomorrow...school days are almost upon me!!!LOL

Good morning all,
It's Sunday already. Gosh the weekend is going so quick.
I went to Connecticut yesterday and spent some time with family and went to the Mogehan Sun. So it was a fun Saturday. It was a horrible ride back to NJ with torrential rain at time from Hurricane Bill. The visibility was so poor you could only see a few feet in front of you. It made me VERY nervous driving in it. But, I got home safely and was releived when I got out of the car.
Today is Sunday and only 10 days left until my surgery. I have been doing my best to try and not think about it too much. I don't want the time to start dragging out. I go for medical clearance testing 7 am on Tuesday and hope everything goes ok. I don't think I will relax until they put me under...lol
Not too bad of a day today. Big event is to drop off my laundry at the laundramat and then pick it up.
A friend of mine that lives in the complex is in NJ 2 weeks out of the month, so she will be here later today and we normally go out to dinner. We have an excellent seafood restaurant called the Bonefish grill that we go to a lot. I love chillean sea bass. Well, at least I do now....lol
Looks like the day is going to be a wash out here in northern Nj.
I hope everyone trys to squeeze in a little bit of fun for the day.

Steffi, I understand how it can be dealing with an orthodox family.. Siehara's best friend is the daughter of the Chabad rabbi. But, they are not MY family, so that makes it easier. Good luck!
well, I am up earlier than I wanted to be today. Even though it's already 9:20, I planned to stay in bed longer. I was woken up by texts from my new friend. As nice as it was to hear from him, I wanted to be sleeping. LOL! So, I'm up for now.. may have to get back in the bed soon though.
I'm feeling good after yesterday. I am a little bit sore, but not really. I am going to put a big post about all the wows and stuff of the zip line, but I think that will have to wait until I am more awake. For now, lets just say it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
This morning will have me making sure Siehara finally cleans out her closet and room once and for all. She has been piddling around with it for the past 2 weeks and I've had enough. It needs to get done NOW. School starts in a little over a week and I want her room organized before then. Unfortunately, it will probably mean some stress this morning getting her to do it to MY standards, but I'm at the point where I just don't care. It needs to get done.
I need to close out my Pampered Chef party today, too, but I am waiting for one person's payment. So, I may just not include her sale in my party. Liz--- you may get it for yours.
Later on, we will go visit my dad and run to the store. I need basics like hair spray, gel, tampons, protein bars, and have an Rx at the drug store to pick up.
Tonight I have choir and my Pampered Chef boss will be calling me afterwards to do some training.
Sheesh, thought I was going to be relaxing today.. now it seems busy.

Another soggy Sunday but at least it wasn't raining when I walked the dog. Things are so green right now and so unusual for late August but I am loving it.
Still fighting a cold and a nasty headache this morning - could be the weather but I wi**** would go away. Not much on my agenda today other than laundry, some cleaning and wearing out my right arm throwing the ball for the dog who seems to have endless energy this morning!!

I am not NEARLY as sore as I thought I would be. That in and of itself was a WOW to me! I surely expected to be totally sore! There were so many wows - definately did things I didn't think I could do....and did them fairly well I might even say. It was just overwhelming!
After zipping brother, gf, hubby, & I went out to dinner - we were all STARVING and then all of us took about 4 bites of food...and were instantly full...it was so weird. Lots of Red Robin leftovers in my fridge at the moment! So anyway...I ended up falling asleep on the couch yet again around 9:30pm...went to bed around 11...of course was then up around 2am...went back to bed at 3:45 and slept well until 9:15ish....
So...anyway - brother and gf are still here :) We've had a good weekend with them. I made a big batch of waffles, some w/ sf choc chips in them. We'll have that for breakfast and then the rest will go into the freezer for meals later on :) Also made a sf fruit topping for them. Everything looks WONDERFUL if I do say so myself!
Brother is still sleeping - gf is up and we are just chilling watching some planet special or something or other on TLC (can ya tell I'm paying close attention to it, LOL)
I also need to - get this - take FILM to get developed? WTH?? I'm not even sure if stores still do that, LOL I'm gonna get them made into a CD so I can more easily upload them and what not. I hope they turned out! I'm so not used to NOT seeing how the picture came out as soon as you took it, spoiled I guess :)
Also need to figure out if and when the in laws are coming. Hmmmm. That also means possibly figuring out dinner. Is it wrong to pull out Red Robin leftovers, left over pizza, and some frozen home made waffles and say "have at it?"

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. 
MOrning ALl! I am feeling rough this morning and I didn't soar down a closeline in a harness yesterday! lol I did get a lot done though. I slept until TEN this morning! That is at least 3 hours later then I have slept in years! I am dizzy and itchy though. Today has us doing some yard work and some cleaning. Oh and laundry - that never seems to end! This afternoon I'll also get food ready for the week. Oh yea - and making up the menu and shopping lists for cooking class next weekend
