Just a quick Hi

I just wanted to say Thanks to everyone for the kind words, support, prayers and well wishes when I posted the other day. I know it was a "pity party" post. Sometimes, it just helps to get it out. But I truly appreciate you guys taking the time to read and respond.

As far as my kidneys go, there are a few more tests to be done to narrow down my treatment. I won't know those results for a week or so.

BP meds have been changed so hopefully my blood pressure will come down.

I do go and see my new hematologist next Thursday and look forward to her opinion on my blood disorder.

So things are slowly coming together. And I am feeling much better about things. It just seemed so overwhelming at first.

Again.........thanks for being so kind! I appreciate it. I don't personally know any of you and you guys still show concern and support and that means alot.

Glad that things are getting sorted out. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks they can give you a plan of attack and the meds to get you back to your best!

It is amazing how much people who you don't know in person can have such an effect on your life isn't it?? Hopefully we'll get to change that not knowing eachother in person thing next weekend!

That's the beauty of this forum - we don't need to KNOW each other personally, in true "flesh and blood" if you will in order to support each other through everything.  Hell - I've gotten prayers and support over Brian's many "dental" appointments...which in the grand scheme of thing is no big deal - but to him (and us) it is.

I'm glad your doc is taking such good care of you and that you have answers to some of the issues and the ability (tests) to figure out answers to the rest.

Congrats!  And do keep us posted!  And hey, if you and Jantzen do make it to Liz's (tell your older son it's mommy's day out and he can race another time, btw, LOL) then you can officially say you DO know us personally!

"Jodi" wants to say, tough cookies, no racing. But.........

"Mommy" is a sucker and does what makes the kiddos happy!

Sounds like things are getting figured out...I know the waiting is tough, but it sounds like you have a good team of doctors working with you.
