***TGIF Roll Call***
I keep * meaning* to sign the roll call so I figured today I *actually* would!
Trish, have a great time at the game! I'm a Mets fan too, but I agree with Laureen & Pam -- I know they'll probably lose, they are playing like such bums this year, UGH! But still, I know I have to stay loyal to my time, especially since I was born in Queens and all.
Today I'm at work (Woo! Exciting!) but at lunchtime I need to go up to the tire shop -- one of my tires looks maybe a little low to me, and since I'm leaving Thursday to drive to North Carolina, I don't want to take any chances with it so I need them to check it out for me. I wish I knew how to check the pressure myself but I never learned how. Oh well.
After work I'm going to go to Zumba, and then home to pack. I'm driving down to Maryland tomorrow to visit a friend in Annapolis until Sunday, and while I'm there we're going to go to Six Flags in Maryland for the day. Yes, it's true, I've become a roller coaster junkie! I can't help it! I think I've definitely gotten my money's worth from my season pass.

Today I'll be at work till 4pm, and then home to wait for the kids to pick up Patchy. Patchy & Hider are just getting to the point of being able to be on the same side of the bed at the same time without Hider going into her Kung Fu act on the dog. If they had another week I think they might actually start to enjoy each other
Oh well maybe next time he comes to stay the kitty will come around more quickly
Yesterday's appointment with my hematologist went well. He wants me to have a Greenfield filter put in prior to surgery; he said he'd contact my surgeon to discuss that with him. I did send an email to the surgeons' office to let them know how my appointment went so they'd know this was coming and could start to coordinate this for me.

Ida - I think my mom just had the Greenfield filter put in to prevent blood clots forming in her legs to traveling up to her heart and lungs or other vital organs? Does that sound right? It was a fairly simple procedure - the hardest part for her was having to lie still for an hour afterwards and not being able to sit up for several hours. It sure beats her being on blood thinners the rest of her life! I hope it goes well for you, too...

Ooh how I love fridays!!! Geezzz see its 1230pm and I just woke up like a half hour ago. LOL. That is so sad. I went to bed around 12 last night too. However, I am one of those who gets up like at least 4 times a night. I hate it so much.
Today I am not doing much besides relaxing around the house. Maybe going out and filling some more applications out if hubby feels like taking me around. Because my car has no gas in it and the inspection is bad also. I have to get it inspected and it needs like 300 hundred dollars to pass inspection. Yes, granted it has been 4 months since I have been being a bad gurl and driving around my car with a bad inspection to just get around. I cannot wait til I can afford to fix my car and that is another reason I have not gone to any of my follow up appts at Barix either. To far to drive to take my chances of getting pulled over with a bad inspection. I am calling Dr. P today to make an appt to go see her. Now that we dropped our medical coverage we have an extra hundred dollars in our pay so now I can afford to go down. However now the visit is going to cost me more without the coverage. I am sure they will be wanting to take blood work from me prolly when I do go. Okay I just got off the phone I have an appt Sept 11th on a friday. I feel so horrible for not going to the first 2 appts and I am praying that Dr.P understands and is not mad at me. I hate feeling guilty but what can I do if I could not go. Now I am praying that Sept 11th my mom can take the day off and take me down. If not hubby better let me drive his truck and ill go alone. Okay I need to get away from here and go do some stuff.
