***TGIF Roll Call***

My son had no problem snatching up tickets for this weekend on Stub Hub, and they were $10 cheaper each than any tix I could find for when the Mets come to Philly in September, which is sold out. To quote my son, "they can't give away the tickets this season" they are playing so poorly. It's a shame, since they have that beautiful field now. I am taking Utley with me for good luck. He will play in my son's apartment that evening, and I will crash on his couch, since it is a night game.
Have fun with your friend. I think the little boy will love the Transformers. My son did when he was that age, and with the movies out recently, it is a rebirth of the toys.

Good Morning everyone!
I am chipper and happy this morning! Maybe because it's friday.........maybe because my new meds are kicking in.......who knows! but I will take it!
I am at wor****il 3:30. I will get MORE labs drawn in the midst of my day. Ugh. After work, I go pick up all the kiddos. Johnny and Sawyer are racing tomorrow and I know they have some last minute things to work on, so the rest of the kids and I may head out to run a few errands.
Then home tonight to chill and relax. Not sure what's up for dinner. It may be an on-the-go dinner type of night.

I'm glad it's Friday too - However, I'm still house sitting and my boyfriend decided to call me at 6:20am to tell me that the power had gone off at my place....UGHHHHHHH. I was deep in dreamland when the phone rang
Oh well, that's the way it goes. I got up, made some coffee and did some online bill paying. I think I'll even get dressed soon and go out to do a little shopping. I'm going to scan the clearance racks and maybe check out Good Will.

Need to organize and close out my Pampered Chef party today. Right now, the contents of everything I have received from them is scattered all over my bed. I am doing some organizing in between working. It gives me a chance to get up and do something different for a few minutes.
After work, I need to get to the gym. I have not had the time to get over there much this week and I feel it. There is a Body Pump class tonight that I think I will take. That way I don't have to think about what parts I will work out. Rocco was supposed to leave me a new strength plan in my folder so I want to see if he did that, too.
There is a service tonight at the synagogue, but I don't know if I'll get there. I think I need some down time. I've been running all week and I want to be totally up to par for tomorrow's crazy zip line tour!!!

Good morning everyone - TGIF and I only worked 2 days this week, but this cold is still dragging me down so 2 days feel like 20! My poor co-workers - all they're hearing is sneezing, coughing and me blowing my nose!
We have a very quiet weekend planned - had thought about going over to Jersey to see hubby's newest great-grandchild but I don't think I should while still hanging on to this cold - the baby is only a couple of weeks old so we'll wait another week or so.
Still struggling to get back on my good eating habits - haven't exercised - just have no energy whatsoever right now. Hoping that changes as the cold and my eating improve.

Kathy, I think my co-workers are ready to kill me for the same reason...these summer colds are the worst.
Today has me packing the kids up for their annual trip to Florida to see their grandparents!! Yeah!! A whole week with no kids!! What to do with myself?? Actually, my husband and I are heading to the Poconos tomorrow for a couple of days of nothing!! I can't wait! We have no plans to do anything while we are there except go to the outlets. All of my clothes are hanging off of me and I can't wait any longer to buy some new ones.
My husband got his surgery date! Oct.12th with Dr.P!! I am so excited for him. It is amazing how quick everything was. I am hoping he becomes part of the board, but I am not pushing him.

My little brother is here and he is tired, so I think we are going to hang low today - you know, the only way a 21 year old can be tired - he was just in VA with his buddies - so I am sure the tired goes along with all the drinking and partying they were doing! :)
Slept OK without my c-pap last night - not great - but now waiting to hear what hubby has to say about it - wonderfing if I made any noises, turned a lot, etc....Will hopefuly nap some time this afternoon. Finally get to pick up my son from camp on Sunday - it has been a long 4 weeks. However, I am sure by Sunday evening, I will want him - and the girls too - to go BACK to camp! :)

Trish - have a BLAST at citi field. It really IS a gorgeous new stadium! Lots to see and look around if you have time and what not. That's where we saw McCartney last month. I'd like to see it as the actual "stadium" as opposed to it with a huge stage set up in it....but still. Of course, I will be cheering for the mets...but, as a true die hard fan, I know they will lose. Maybe it has something to do with, what was it....9 or 10 on the DL? (that's just something to say to make us fans feel better about it all...when it really has nothing to do with it....) I don't follow sports closely by any means...but when I do watch, I am a NY fan....
Let's see....work was eerily quiet for the first half...and then we were non stop after that. Ended up getting out just a few mins late...which if you had asked me at 6:30 I would have SWORN to you I would be there for at least another hour catching up on things...so that was good :)
Came home...unpacked my bags....packed lunch....domestic glamour stuff around the house...have been chilling with hubby...and will be going to bed very very shortly.
I'm back at work tonight. It's my 4 day week...and most of the time I get to go home or not in at all on my four day week as a "bonus" (it cuts down on OT for them...which of course is what everyone is trying to do in this economical time...) and as much as I enjoy going home early on any night (who doesn't??) I was really really REALLY hoping to do so tonight (or not go in at all) That way I could get some sleep prior to our zipping tomorrow. Looked at the schedule...and we are "at numbers" tonight...so it doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon. Oh well - I'll still have plenty of time to take a nap tomorrow morning and Brian can drive so if I need to, I can nap
And that's about it. Hubby is going to his parents house....so it will be me and the cats under my blanket with the AC on.
Remember to keep yourselves hydrated today - it's DISGUSTINGLY humid and hot.

Today is Friday! Thank Goodness!! Im glad for the weekend to be here. Tomorrow both kids have soccer. Lola from 9-10am kam from 10-1130. Right after that we will go to my dad's side, family reunion. hubby has off all day tomorrow. YIPEEEE!! He will heading to Florida in a week or two for paperwork and to get things started for his new job. Im not sure when the kids and I will be moving down but he will be starting Oct 1 I believe. Im excited!!

Morning! 6 hours and counting until I am sprung for the weekend. My parents are keeping my niece and nephew this weekend so I am planning on taking Alex to see a movie tonight. Has anyone seen Shorts or Ponyo yet? I guess I will see which one he prefers. Tomorrow is ziplining (or watching ziplining for those of use that are wusses) IF it doesnt get rained out. If it does, then I am not sure what I will do to entertain myself. Hopefully, I will also get a chance to catch up on some much needed sleep.
