***TGIF Roll Call***
It's Friiiiiiiiiiiday!!!!
Not that I worked one day this week, but I am so glad Friday is here. It means, I get to go to New York on Saturday and see the Phillies play the Mets at Citi Field. Yippppeeeee!!!!! Yes, I have felt like crap all week, and yes, I have fought the stupid fever and wheezing all week. My fever did not go above 99 today, so I think I am on the mend. And, the doc put me on Advair for my wheezing, so I intend to head north and see the game.
I did some cleaning out of some stuff I have been storing, and found some artwork my Colleen and Chris made in preschool. They are little hand prints with poems, and I about cried. The handprints are the same size as my Isabel's. Colleen was three and Chris was two when these were made. Where has the time gone? I am too young to be feeling this old.
Anywho, Friday has me paying some bills, and buying some Phillies tickets for a birthday present for my nephew, son, and daughter-in-law and me. I also need to purchase some tires for my car, as the inspection is due and I am late in taking care of these details. I also must get to my therapy appointment. My issues have become subscriptions and I need to get some therapy work done on them.
Well, if I survive all of this stuff, I hope to hit my knitting group in the evening and make some barrettes for the Munchkin. I have been making them since I came home, but get distracted by the dog, who insists on playing fetch every evening, all night. It gets kind of dicey when I throw the ball into the dining room and hear dishes clank when the ball hits it. My Blue Willow serving pieces really take a beating, but the dog has a blast fishing the ball out of the dishes. Gotta remember to wash those things before using them on holidays.
Catch you later...make it a good day...anyone can have a bad day, it is all about attitude.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Good morning, Trish and PA! I'm with you Trish---I'm glad it's Friday!! I'm going for my first postop bloodwork this morning, then have to go into work for 5 hours. This afternoon, I'll do some shopping. I need new sneakers and also want to go to Goodwill to look for clothes. I will continue going through my old clothes this weekend and adding to my donation pile. Have a great day everyone!!!
Hi everyone!
My house is a mess. I seriously need to take the time to clean.
Today is another volunteer day. I need to get to a thrift store and pick up some stuff. Maybe a trip to Olean later today. We shall see. I need to get about 10 lbs off by the conference in October! I wanna look good for the fashion show. teehee...
Anyway, you all have a great day!!

Good morning and happy Friday everyone. i am in countdown mode. 12 days to go.
I am soooooooo glad it is Friday as well even if it is calling for rain. I don't have any big plans for the weekend, might do some furniture shopping. I am looking for a new living room set.
I have 1/2 day Friday during the summers and need to stay away from the house this afternoon and stay out of my housekeeper's way. She doesnt' like when I am home and she is cleaning. I get in her way.....lol
My neice is having a tiki party in CT but doubt I will go since they are calling for rain and 3 hour drives aren't really my thing.
Enjoy the weekend all.

Good Morning ALl! Sounds like a busy day Trish!
Oh and the dishes would be about reason 987 that I don't want a dog! lol
I am at wor****il 4 today then home to clean out the fridge (like scrub it! since it is empty! lol) Then I want to cut out a blanket that I am working on and probably just relax. Just some house projects on the agenda for the weekend - looking forward to 2 quiet days!

No....but I used to sew when I was younger - and just mentioned to Brian I would like to possibly start sewing again. Maybe a Halloween costume or something of that nature....so maybe one day if you wouldn't mind I could play around with it a little. But thanks for the offer of ewi
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Good Morning Trish, PA Peeps!
TGIF! Glad you are feeling up to going to the game tomorrow, I'm jealous, especially seeing as it's going to be a tribute to the 69 Mets, though the Mutts (my b/f's and mine pet name for the stooges of a Mets team in 09) will probably lose, they should be called the Losers, so pissed as to how this season turned out. . . anyway, enjoy the game, I will be going to New York tomorrow as well, going to see an old friend of mine who I have not seen since she got married, about 7 years ago, she moved, I moved, you know how that goes, but we kept in touch via cards and e-mail and now I am going to see her at her Mom's house in Howard Beach and meet her 6 year old son for the first time, I bought him a couple of transformers, figured they're all the rage among little boys these days.
Anyway, today I am off to work, after which I am going to the gym, as it's time to get back with it and feel the good feelings of participating in something that makes me feel good. Then I'll be coming home to dear old Dillinger and chillaxing until I fall asleep which should be by 10 o'clock, cause lately I'm just so tired. . .
Have a great day, because it is largely about attitude.
Hugs, Laureen
