OT - Surprising news, good news, bad news
That's what I've told him from when all of this started. He has frequently suffered from headaches that work ups have revealed nothing and also digestive issues and I for one am convinced all of this will help. Not to mention, his self esteem. He's already made comments about having a "normal smile" and "Looking normal" and things like that - so I KNOW it will help over time. But kind of like us...fixing his teeth not his "head" LOL

Thank you all so much! It seems so "silly" to post things like this on here...and I guess in some respects it is...but having the support through everything is so nice!
More good news...he has only needed one dose of a tylenol/motrin combo and it seemed the worst "pain" was when he was numb....weird...but he ate a double crusted pizza tonight for dinner...including the chewy crust so I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say his pain is pretty much under control. Of course...paranoid podeszwa over there will just tell you "it is what it is" or some other cliche to make it sound like he's in pain but fighting through just for the hell of it.
Not to say that the "night nurse" in me isn't fighting every nerve in my body to medicate the crap outta him before we go to bed so my patient "sleeps through the night" LOL (Night nurses motto don't ya know..."you should be asleep")
Thanks again all

Pam I feel your pain no pun intended about dental bills we have dental ins. it covers up to $1500.00 and it spends quick! Root canal, fillings, bridges and crowns what a pain but its better than toothaches and such. Hope Brian feels better and gets over what I call "sticker shock" I can remember when I had to pay lots out of pocket expenses that dental ins paid and we had to pay the difference I even had to have gum grafting and that was not fun not being able to eat for 11 days anything solid needless to say I lost weight but what a heck of a way to do it. Feel etter Brian .
