Where is everyone!?

We are busy at work finishing up a HUGE Grocery store project that has to be done tomorrow. I will probably be here late although I am hoping not.

AFter work home to rest. Last night I cut my thumb pretty bad and it is so sore, I've never had a serious kitchen injury before and this sucks! at least it is my left hand...

Good morning Liz - I was ust thinking the same thing - I went to play a quick game of facebook and decided that Iwould come back and start this - so glad that you did!

I am up early because the dog decided that 6:30 AM was a better time to go to the bathroom in lieu of 11:00 last night when I tried calling her to let her out and she ignored me. UGH!!!!  Today will be a busy day - I am tutoring this morning, then taking the girls to have lunch with my aunt - always a fun time!  I am going to try to get some laps in this afternoon - haven't done laps since Saturday.....then tonight I am bringing hubby to Barix with me for the post-op meeting.  Can't wait to hear what he has to say.......Read that last part with sarcasm.

That is all for me today - hope you have a nice Wednesday and am hoping to see many people tonight.

how the heck did you cut your thumb? That's totally something I would do.  Hope it gets better soon.

I am feeling much more rested today.  I crashed early and feel more rested.  That's what I get for having company stay late, I guess.  

Anyway, today is work.  Rocco day at the gym today--glad it wasn't yesterday.  Siehara was late getting home from play date and I was SOOOOO tired I never made it over there. 

After gym, I need to come home and get a quick shower and then head over to the synagogue to do some cooking for this Saturday's lunch after services.

not quite sure... I was chopping an onion to make Chris turkey salad for lunch and next thing I knew I was in excrutiating pain! I took off the tip of the left thumb - it's still attached a bit, I thought for sure I was going to need stitches but it stopped bleeding quickly and I have it all wrapped up well with gauze and bandages this morning.

Oh and yes - I threw away the onion and washed the cutting board and knife before starting again! lol

And yet you started over?!?!  Silly gilr! :)  I would have turned around and said, "see...this is why I don't cook, It's dangerous!"  And hubby would have responded with, "get out of my kitchen!"  

lol nope... I kept going - then made dinner

That's the difference between us and Liz, Steffie.  She likes to cook.  We (or I)  cook so we can eat. LOL!

Nope - there's no cooking for me  - hubby would not know what to do with himself, and I sure don't want to kill the kids! :)  And - I think you are trying to make me lok bad with this Pampered Chef stuff - I just think you like all the gadgets! :)

I was up early with a bad case of nerves.  I realized that in 24 hours I will be setting on the losers bench with all my new found friends. Not sure what time yet.  Geisinger will call me today with the time.  I plan on keeping busy with little odds and ends around the house and packing my little bag for the hospital.  My friend will post tomorrow night as to how everything went.  She will be posting under my name.  Thanks for all the great advice and encouragement.  I am starting my new life with my eyes wide open with your help.  See you on the other side.
