****Terrific Tuesday Roll Call****
Greetings PAers and Friends,
Wow, talk about heat...to add to the heat, I have had a fever since Saturday. I have been going to the pool and just hanging out with my noodle to cool off. It helps. I can't swim, because kicking hurts my toe, but I can just soak.
Well, I saw the orthopedist on Monday and all I have to do is keep the toe taped and wear a silly boot, and hobble around for a while. The bummer is I can't work at my hospital job till after Labor Day. I really need that extra money.
I also got some portraits of my grandson today. He does not look like a newborn, he looks like a 3 month old. There is an adorable one of my granddaughter and him, and she just looks so happy.
Tuesday has me heading to my family doc in the morning for my B12 shot and to find out what to do with the fever. Then, in the afternoon, I see Dr. Marymor for my 3 year check-up. I hope I don't get lost on the way. I did print out directions, so I should be fine.
Between appointments I have a ton of stuff to take to the Salvation Army. I am getting rid of a lot of stuff that I don't need, as I hope to move to a smaller place by Christmas. I also have some stuff to give to a cat rescue charity. Then, I have to hit the post office and mail some pics to Mom in Wilkes Barre.

I'm headed out the door pronto - a day in our Phila office today, followed by an evening meeting at church. Won't be home till 9-ish.
But hey...it's all fun!
(Speaking of Salvation Army, I am already finding that my closet needs to be cleaned out...hoping that a good consignment store near us will take some of my nicer things...)

For consignment shops, I hear Plato's Closet might take some good stuff. They are a consignment chain. We have one in Langhorne, right near Barix.

I roasted yesterday! I wish we had AC in the whole house. I may have to hide in the bedroom today where we do have AC lol. Today I am at the library. It is slightly cooler there but they don't have AC either. Small towns I guess.
Anyway, I am way looking forward to the conference in October!! I need to get injected with some totally awesome stuff!!

Trish that stinks about the toe! and even more so about work at the hospital!
Today has me at wor****il 4 I hope - I have been wanting to get to a garden center that is having a liquidation because they are going out of business but I have been getting out of work too late every night... I also need to hit the bank - payday! yay!
Tonight when I get home I am hoping to clean the kitchen and put the dishes away then make dinner and pack food for tomorrow. Of course the prednisone is doing me in - the itching isn't any better and I am going to have to be out in the heat today for a while - yucky!! If I don't feel signifigantly better tomorrow I Am going to call the Dr back.

I am beat this morning. I am not sure why but hoping my coffee perks me up soon. Today has me working until 3:30. Somewhere in my day, I will have more labs drawn. Ugh. 5 times in the last week. It's getting old. And it's only going to re-confirm what we already know but I appreciate my doc being thorough.
After work, I will run up to school. The office closed early yesterday so I couldn't get my books. So i will do that today. then off to order Johnny more contacts. Then home. We will be grilling something for dinner then I will just chill at home while Johnny heads up to the race car shop.
That's my exciting day........

Sorry you are suffering so much with your foot. Hope it gets better soon so you can get back to normal life.
I am tired this morning. I've been staying up later than normal recently and then last night a new "friend" came over and was here pretty late, so that didn't help my tired factor. But, it was nice to get to know him and hang out--even if we were watching football. LOL!
Today has me working 7-3:30. Good news is that Siehara slept over a friend's house last night so she won't be bored all day and up my butt complaining. LOL!
After work, I will be headed to the gym. It is normally a Rocco day, but yesterday he was trying to rearrange his schedule to put more people on the same day so he doesn't have everyone split up over different days. When I saw him there last night, he hadn't decided if he was going to move people to Tuesday or Wednesday. SO, I will find out later today what he decided.
Siehara has an appointment with her psychologist at 6 and then I have a synagogue board meeting at 7:30. I should be there, but I still haven't made the definite decision to attend. That will depend on how tired I am and if my friend wants to come watch the Phillies game tonight..
At some point, I need to talk to my Pampered Chef leader so I get the orders into the system and work out another training schedule.
