****Sunday Roll Call****
Good Morning Everyone,
I am exhausted but can't sleep. My daughter called me around 11:15 p.m.. to inform me that she is in the hospital with mastitis, an infection in her breast. She has Baby Lincoln with her, so she can continue nursing. She told me that she will not be discharged till her temperature is normal for a full day.
Sunday has me resting my foot, as it got ugly blue and black. I took a look at my X-ray and can clearly see the fracture....the bone is separated, and I am concerned.

Morning all. My problem is opposite of Trish's. I did my last night of 3rd shift until after surgery on Friday night. Unfortunately my body is still on that schedule so I am wide awake. I am going to try to stay awake all day so I can sleep tonight. My plans are to start getting the house in order before Thursday and get some meals made ahead so my DH's aides have simple things to make for him that he likes. He has been so patient because I really haven't cooked much for the last week and a half. Just too tempting. I want to get another long walk in. Hope your foot is feeling better Trish and you daughter is in my prayers. Have a great day.

well today sucks!!...im very depressed and angry today...my poppy is in the hospital he hasnt been doing good for a while but now he has a blood clot in his brain? i didnt even know that was possible so now its prostate cancer,going blind,going deaf,2 grapefruit sized calcified anyerisms in his aorta ,heart failure my god i just wish he wasnt in pain ..i swear if its not one thing its the other please pray for my pop! but i guess one good thing im doing is walking on the treadmill bc im angry instead of eating junk! but my day will probably going over my aunts house...then the hospital ...ughh
I'm heading out to church in a while. We have a houseguest this weekend, so we'll probably fire up the grill this afternoon and make chicken. (I ate my first chicken yesterday and it seems to sit okay.) The rest of my grocery supply is a little odd right now...so will fill in with whatever!
Then...finish up a little laundry, read a bit, and hopefully sit outside if it's not too stifling. It's the dog days of summer, for sure!

Morning! Today's the day!! My big grand opening event for Pampered Chef. I have some last minute prep work to do for it, including calling my team leader because I never got around to it yesterday. OOPS!
This morning, I need to stop at an ATM and get some cash out to both pay last night's babysitter before I run her home (she's asleep on my couch right now) and so I have cash on hand in case anyone pays with cash today. I should have gone inside the bank yesterday so I could get a variety of bills, but did I think of it then??? Of course not. Hopefully, it will work itself out. If I have to, I'll go to WAWA or the grocery store and pay for a bunch of small stuff with 20's to get the smaller bills. LOL!
After my Pampered Chef party, this evening I have the 1st rehearsal for a community choir that will be singing at a religious service at the Jewish Community Center in September. I was approached almost a year ago by the director asking if I would join it after she heard me singing. I was very honored and had been wanting to join it previously when they did an event, but the rehearsals did not work for me. This is the 1st event since she asked me to join and I am excited to be able to be part of this. I LOVE singing! I told her that I would need to bring Siehara along and she asked if she could sing. She is in the school choir and loves it. Looks like this will be a good mother/daughter activity! Can't wait!

Good morning Trish - I hope this morning finds your daughter feeling better - I can only imagine how painful the nursng must be with the mastitis!
Today is my 17th wedding anniversary with my hubby. So what are we going to do you ask...well....let me tell you....We will start with hanging more shelves in my dining room, sound exciting so far?!?! I know - you are all soooo jealous....then this afternoon we are going to swim at a house of a friend that I made while on my Israel trip. Two of my three children are not home - so tonight, with the little one - looks like a quiet evening at home. We are so the ever-exciting couple!
