***Saturday Roll Call***
Good Morning Everyone,
Well, my weekend started off weirdly with me breaking my small toe on the left foot Friday morning. I basically tripped over my dog barefoot, slamming some toes into his hind leg. He is fine, no injuries on him. He basically stopped walking, and I was caught off guard. My doc wants me to see the orthopedist on Monday because the damage that is done to it has him concerned.
So, instead of working at the hospital this weekend, I will be resting my foot, icing it, and knitting and crocheting. I might hobble over to the pool to just "hang out" in the deep end with my noodle.
I hope everyone has a better weekend.

well im still resting since im only 12 days out..but my friend is having a luah orhowever ya spell it i may stop by there but im not sure if im in the mood to be around alot of drunken people yet lol depending on my mood i may do that ..if not it looks like another day of sleep and movies for me! yippee!
Ouch Trish!!! I feel your pain....Molly and tucker have beaten me up enough....even gave me a mild concussion once. But, the pain of injuring your toe is unlike any other!
Saturday has me driving up to Doylestown to see my sister, brother in law and the kids for a about an hour. Then, I am heading to a pig roast. After that I doing the double date thing :) Its time to introduce my new "friend" to the dogs, so he will be coming back here after we go out.
Sunday will be breakfast out and then finishing the edging on the lawn that I mowed this afternoon. I got the tractor caught in a branch on my weeping cherry tree and pulled the whole thing down...at least 10 or 15 feet of a branch. I got myself and the tractor caught up in it and I am lucky it didn't knock me right off of it.

well since we are "fessing up" ........... I usually fly into the garage, let my foot off the gas, and then turn off the tractor. Last week I made the usual trek, but the tractor didn't stop!!!! Ran over an outdoor chair seat (padded). The crap inside was flying everywhere. Finally got stopped after hitting my pressure washer. No damage, but felt pretty stupid. While yanking out the fabric from around the blades, I see a stick stuck at the gas pedal. Glad nobody saw me.

Sheesh, I feel your pain, as I've broken at least 3 of my toes during the course of my lifetime and some of them more than once, nothing like it, thankfully, you can wear open shoes at the very least of it. Dillinger has caused me a few incidents, a couple of times, his slobbery mess after drinking water sent me splitsville, cartwheelting to catch myself, clunking my head on the corner of a cabinet, I can go on and on over the course of the past almost 13 years of the mishaps due to the love of man's best friend, but it's all been worth it, even the fact that he woke me up at 3:58 this morning because he was thirsty and wanted to go potty, oh and let's not forget that treat he wants everytime he comes back from his potty breaks, but I am truly amazed and thrilled that he has beat many odds and still is with me! Anyway, feel better and enjoy enforced day of leisure.
Well I think I am going to try and see if I have any luck going back to sleep, as I have lots to do today, a part of which is mowing the front/back yards, vacuuming and then meeting someone from the Over Fifty Forum of OH for lunch, which I am looking forward to.

Good morning Trish and PA - I hope your toe starts to feel better - good thing that Utley is cute right?!?!
Today has me doing bills, heading to the pool for some laps, taking Emily to a birthday party and then we are supposed to be going to a Sweet 16 tonight but I actually don't have a sitter - I may just leave the girls for a little if my 11 year od is not too worried about staying home with her little sister for a little while. I have never met this young lady whose party it is - she is the daugher of my husband's work partner's girlfriend....did you follow all that?
Not sure why I am awake - was up late last night - and the girls are home - so hopefully there will be a nap in my future. I hope you all have a nice Satruday!

Today is busy busy busy again. I am up early so I can get stuff done.
I need to do a lot of food prep for tomorrow's Pampered Chef party. I also need to get to the dollar store to pick up things like folders, envelopes, pens, a money bag and a calendar for the party.
There's also banking, cleaning and calling my team leader for a last minute pep talk/training session before the party.
All of this needs to be done by about 3 or 4 because I am most likely headed to Atlantic City for a few hours tonight. Yes, I know I'm crazy, but I'll be back in time for my party and I don't plan to drive so I can sleep in the car! If I don't make it to A.C., I will be headed to karaoke. Either way, I have a sitter for tonight and I plan to use her!

As for me I was unable to post all week and I feel so out of the loop!!! LOL I had to run down to Philly every day to start organizing and working in my classroom so I was out the door early and coming in late. It was a busy week!!!!!!
Today is busy as well...we have to go to Bensalem for an appointment..then head back up to Pottstown to await the arrival of the OUTLAWS (grrrrr) who are bringing Barry's youngest home from her summer visit with them. We will have dinner with them and then they will head back up to rural PA...hopefully this will be a short and sweet visit and not a nasty one...but we will see...I am not in the mood for the drama today that is for sure.
Then after they leave we are heading over to the Wal-Mart to pick up the girls new uniforms for school as Pottstown School district has incorporated a uniform policy for all grade levels up through the highschool...so Stacey needs a uniform too this year!!! LOL She wasn't too keen on that..but it is a money saver for us so I am all for it!!!!
Then hopefully it will be home to just veg out on the couch..read and then hit the bed. Busy Sunday too this weekend...before heading back into work mode on Monday!!!
