When will this get started
Hi everyone, I went to my first information meeting at the Barix Center in Langhorne last night. Dr. Boe is a doll and he answered everyone's questions openly and honestly. Lots of good information was presented. Now if only they can get a contract with my insurance company...Dr. Boe is a provider for them but not the center...go figure. Now that I have made up my mind to have the RnY done, it seems like it is forever to get things moving in the right direction. Both of my sisters have had RnY done and are doing so great...when will it be my turn? OK, I am whining...a bit. Congrats to all of you on your decision to change your life and on your weight loss. I love reading the posts and can't wait to add my success story to yours.
This is a great forum and you have all been so informatiive and your support for each other is impressive. Once things start moving forward I will let you know.

The insurance journey is easier for some than others. I was told that THIS was the hardest part - not the surgery, not the recovery, not the eating guidelines...the INSURANCE!
And I'd say that for me, that was true. Let's hope for an easy approval for you. I would definitely recommend that you get the full list of your insurer's requirements for approval right up front so you have all the ducks in a row.
