Hi Everyone,
I had the opportunity to visit Gilda's House of Delaware Valley last night for a training.  It is in Warminster, PA.  They are having a fund raiser called Paws for Life.  It is a dog walk.  It is October 10th.  I have to check my work schedule, but I hope to be there.  Here is the link that has the information.  You have to scroll down for the Dog Walk.

Gilda's Club is a support resource for cancer patients.  It is in honor of Gilda Radner, who died of ovarian cancer.

Thought it would be fun for some people.

Hugs,
Trish

Thanks Trish!  I had a friend/cowork that died of ovarian cancer about 4 years ago at the age of 42.  I will see whats on my calendar and maybe do this!!

My four closest friends all have, or have had, breast cancer.  My mom's boyfriend just buried his 56 year old daughter to cancer.  It is really hitting home for me.

This Clubhouse is a great resource center for cancer patients, and their friends and families.  They offer emotional and educational support for people.  There are about 30 of them across the country.

I found out I have to work that weekend.  I am actually tempted to see if I can trade off that weekend for another so I can participate.

Hugs,
Trish

Thanks, Trish!

My Mom is a survivor of Ovarian Cancer so I am very much a supporter of this and any cancer cause.     I've been to "Paws for Life", but this year I will work for the first time since I am much more healthy now!    I'd love to meet up with you there!!
