Informal Support Group in Philadelphia

Hey guys -

I know there are several support groups for WLS patients in the 'burbs but as a city dweller, I'd like things to be a little closer to home.

I'm looking to start an informal gathering of WLS patients (any surgery) here within the city. I figure we can meet at a local Cosi or other place for dinner or coffee. It doesn't need to be fancy or formal but I know I can't possibly be the only post-op in the city. :)

If you're interested, please reply here or PM me and we'll work on finding a date/time that works for everyone.

I'm not picky about it being during the week or even on weekends.

Hey Christin -

I'd love to have you, pre or post it doesn't matter to me. We're all in this together in some way.

What area would be best for you? I'm still new to the city so I don't know the different areas. I had one request for "at or near Center City" -- does that work for you?

I'd like to try for sometime next week if we can all agree on a place.

Tracey, I am just outside the city in Glenside and would love to meet with the group.

Fantastic!

If you PM me, I'll start nailing down a location and a date.
